I really like the gfx and the music and the bullet patterns are mesmerizing (as they should be) combined with the background grid. While the controls where good (would have prefered a keyboard key instead of mixing in the mouse button), I was always a bit frustrated that I could not fire when the ship was in the lower part of the screen. But that's a minor - great work!
Thank you for your feedback!
The inability to shoot is a bug that some people encounter. Would you mind telling me your screen size and whether you played in fullscreen mode?
I really liked all the patterns you had! Great Shmup design! Good job!!!! If I had one critique, I would say that enemies had too much health and I could rarely take them out.
Thank you for the feedback!
Nice work, I liked the patterns a lot, though I thought the game was glitching when you get to the bottom screen and your bullets stop coming out, I guess that is to prevent some cheese. But very fun game.
Thank you!
The inability to shoot in the bottom parts of the screen is a bug that some people encounter, and I already have an idea what causes it. Would you mind telling me your screen size and if you played in fullscreen?
My notebook screen is 1920X1080, the game automatically launched in Full Screen when I clicked on it.
Really good game, simple visuals made the work. Nice patterns of enemy and sooo good mechanic with time-stopping. I enjoyed it, good work!
Thank you!
I liked the time-stopping mechanic; it opens up many possibilities for a shmup. I wasn't very comfortable with the controls—it could be just me, but I find it a bit difficult to shoot using the space bar. Moreover, the time-stop button was mapped to the mouse click. I think you could simplify the controls and map the shooting to the mouse button as well; it might be more comfortable. Something happened while I was playing—sometimes I couldn't shoot, and I didn't understand why. I thought it was due to running out of ammo or something like that. I liked the enemy patterns; the game is very cool. Congratulations!
Thank you for the feedback!
Yeah, it appears that there's a bug where the shots get instantly despawned. If you don't mind, would you tell me if you noticed a pattern on where it happened, your screen size and whether you played in fullscreen or not?
I played in full-screen mode and noticed that the problem with the bullets disappearing happened at different moments (I played the game about 5 times). I don't remember if it happened in a specific wave, but I do remember it occurred at different times. I hope this helps =)
Cool gameplay and good soundtrack, I didn't like the backgound too much, but everything is still clear soo.. nice game!
Thank you for the feedback!
Awesome time stopping mechanic, also has a nice artwork and gameplay!!
Thanks!
Grate game. You achieved really cool and aesthetic bullet patterns!
Thank you!
Unfortunately, I couldn't play it in either Chrome or Safari. So I just wish you good luck!
Thank you!
From looking it up, it appears that MacOS can't run Godot 4 HTML exports right now, due to bugs in the export.
Great game with cool bullet attack patterns! However, sometimes when playing I'm suddenly unable to shoot. Other than that, its an awesome game with a great interpretation of the theme "consequences" with the time stop mechanic!
Thank you!
Did you notice a pattern in when you where unable to shoot (e.g. it only happens in certain areas)?
Interesting an thematically appropriate concept.
It seems you can't shoot while on lower part of the screen?
Thanks for the feedback!
Would you mind telling me your screen resolution and if you had it in fullscreen?
1920x1080, windowed, Firefox. Turning on fullscreen decreases problematic area from about 1/7 to 1/12 screen height.
