Felt pretty good sneaking through that gap there at the end. Is this part of the Turnip Boy multiverse? I smell a franchise...
I think the controls here felt just about right, I liked the forgiveness of the floaty aspect. Cute character design too, and a nice main track 🎵 Nice entry!
I little bit tough for me, right at the beginning, but great job overall :) The character is very cute
Fun but tricky platformer, felt rewarding to clear levels. Took me a bit to get used to the dash, and once I did it was a lot of fun to play around with. Nice work!
The controls felt tight and responsive, and I liked the look and sound effects. Solid platformer.
This shows how a simple game can be fun! Can see that this is inspired by Celeste. Completed with 307 seconds :D
Couldn't move ):
Great game! It remembers me of Super Meat Boy :)
The controls feels nice, but wall jumping takes a while to get used to.
Good job!
Great UI and I like that you put XBox and Playstation controller controls in as well. The jumping feels nice but the wall jumping is very hard.
Pretty game with good sounds. But too hard from tutorial :D
This was really fun! Pretty difficult for me, but the movement felt good. Great job!
Challenging gameplay but I still managed to finish in 129 seconds. Music and sound effects are nice but the spike collision is a little strange in some places. Good work!
Great background music that goes well with the adventure theme
Great game with a nice level design which was challenging but not impossible. Although the movement controls and collision detection with spikes could use some polishing in my opinion. Might be a skill issue, though. :D
I didn’t have a problem finishing the game, but the movement and controls just felt too rigid.
It reminded me a lot of Celeste. The character is lovely and the levels are well designed.
A downside for me was the feel of walljump. I felt it a bit unprecise.
Overall, great game!
Celeste as a radish, just what I like to play! At first I thought: "ah this is a piece of cake" until I reached the second to last level where I got sawed in half a few dozen times! Really happy the respawn was fast and it's easy to retry until you finally beat the level. Loved the music / mood of the game, nice polish in the menu / controls. A few particles would have made the visuals really stand out. Great controls, although I felt sometimes a bit stiff compared to Celeste (especially with wall jumps). Otherwise really awesome job, super fun platformer
After a bit more playing I managed to beat your time, and it took me 3 playthroughs to realise you can dash diagonally. I did my first playthrough without it so that's why the second last level was so hard. Anyways here's my final time for now
Rate no. 12
The good stuff:
- Volume settings at 50% by default, really nice detail
- The keys look sick af
- The player movement is a bit floaty but handles really well otherwise
- Good sound design
The main menu animations break when you zoom in the page that was funny
The stuff to improve:
- Weird popping sound at the end of the dash sound
- Camera follow is a bit too slow
- The walljump system is really bad. When you walljump, the player doesn't push themselves away from the wall, just jumps up. I don't like that you can fall off the wall by moving in the opposite direction of the wall; it makes quick walljumps way harder.
- The sawblade has pixel inconsistency relative to the rest of the game
I finished my first playthrough in 674 seconds, most of the time was spent on the second last level. I had a fun time playing.
Neat little game, definitely a bit on the hard side though ;)
I was never good at meat boy, I tried my best here but could not finish the game but that part is on me.
Well done platformer. It reminds us a lot of Celeste for the movement system! Very smooth and fast-paced
