Really liked it. Was confused on the mechanics at first, but had fun once I figured it out. Recommend reworking the UI so that the rhythm rules are more clear, but still a great submission imo.

The game is quite difficult, but it is a really nice interpretation of the theme. Great job!
Really challenging gameplay which is also in all of it's difficultness a rewarding one.
Awesome entry incorporating the theme excellently <3
The music was so damned awesome, one of the best fitting musics thus far.
This is a super cute game! I'm actually impressed that not more people have made rythm games, as it seems to lend itself very well to the time theme. I really liked the concept of the game, unfortunately (and ironically enough) something went wrong with the timing of the music in relation to the movement when I was playing, so it was more or less impossible for me to match up the movement beat exactly, as it was shifted a bit. It took me a while to reach a bit into the second level before getting thrown back instantly by a drone. I'll return to this game later, in another browser, where I hopefully will have some more luck.
Nevertheless, I think you have made an awesome game! Well done creating this :-D
Crazy good entry! I love the effort that has been put to make this game. I played only 3 levels, but I will definitely go back to play some more!
Cool game!
I want to write more. But I feel like other commenters have covered it all. Good job!
I love rhythm games, and this one is also very well made. I wish there were more levels, and that the controls were a little less strict. It was difficult to hit all the beats accurately. I had to open the tutorial to understand that the robot only moved on certain beats (I wasn’t able to move on the down beat (when the orange dot was at the top.)) This was a bit frustrating, and I wished I could move even when the orange dot was at the top as well. I think this “move/action” seperation takes away some of the fun. Doing and action and a move no matter the beat would in my opinion elevate the game, and make it easier to understand (especially since the levels use different time signatures. Though I have to say I loved level 3 with the 7/8 time signature.) The music is well made, and it’s easy to understand when the first beat of the bar happens (the metronome also helped,) so it didn’t turn out that bad. I think it’s a good idea to try out these mechanics in a jam. Sometimes new and original game mechanics works, sometimes not. The music is great, but the sfx is a bit too loud. Especially the drone. The animations are cute as well.
I liked the game a lot, and that’s why I write a long review, because I think the game has potential. I’m looking forward to see an improved version post-jam (with more levels and game elements)
I also agree with the AI to use music/rythm as the most distinct indicator rather than relying on visuals. Visual is also good, so I think it was a good idea to keep it subtle in the corner like you did.
Very good game. For simplicity I will mention the good and bad parts below.
The good parts:
1. The game looks incredible.
2. The sound effects/music is very well done.
3. The controls are extremely well made.
4. The tutorial was very helpful.
5. The UI is very nicely done.
6. The concept is extraordinary.
The bad parts:
1. The game is a bit difficult, and maybe a change of difficulty would help (when changing the difficulty, the wheel will move more slowly and so will the song).
Anyway, very cool game. It drove me crazy (in a good way).
As a question: did you make the music? If yes, then with which application?
Nice graphic and music. At first very frustrating. The timing is too strict and the dot wheel is confusing(I did not understand which dot should I concern before I rechecked the tutorial page).I think maybe you should do more work on tutorial to ensure player to understand.Level 4 is really interesting and made me feel excited. It's a pity maybe most people gave up at the very beginning of the game.
I liked overall style and idea, but I just couldn’t get the timing right - it almost feels as if visuals/music is slightly out of sync with when the game expects you to move, but maybe it’s just my browser or the internet connection. Also please never use only colors to indicate something, because people with color vision deficiency (~10% of male population, myself included) will have really hard time. Always better to use something else apart from color, like shape, numbers or letters.
That's a really good point on the colour stuff. We take that stuff seriously and we'll have a think about how to accommodate people with colour vision deficiency. Thank you for raising it.
It is possible that your browser is rounding timestamps to the nearest 100ms to stop fingerprinting attacks. We are looking into a solution that should get the game feeling more satisfying.
Thanks for the feedback, hopefully we'll be able to get this game to a point where it's enjoyable for you in the future.
Clever concept! I think the tutorial could be more interactive and with less text, but once I had the idea I had a lot of fun! I think it has potential, good job!!
I wanna enjoy this game because I liked Crypt of the Necrodancer and spinoff games, but I can't get the rhythm down. I'm not sure if it's me, the browser delayed inputs, or the timing being too tight. it felt like the times I actually moved were ones where I was off-beat. I could never get past the first enemy :(
