Thank you! This was actually inspired by the early scene in Spirited Away, with the street full of restaurants run by spirits. I chose the color palette that I did to help differentiate us from it, so we wouldn't be accused of making straight up fan art, rather than our own game XD
This is amazing. the art is really good and the gameplay is solid. The only thing I would suggest is that you make it more clear what customers want. If you were to make this a full game I would definitely buy with more recipes and animations. REALLY REALLY GOOD!

I really love the art of this game! And I like that you made a sort of progression system that eases you into the different recipes! The sound was also very well implemented and felt satisfying! I would like the font to also be on the rest of the text for example the buttons don't have it I think? I did run into an issue where I could not performe some recipes towards the end. At least I think I could not cook everything unless I am very dumb and just fat fingered it multiple times :think:
This is one of the best entries I've seen yet. I love the art style, the calm music, and it was all wrapped in a nice simple story. The gameplay was super fun, a DDR cook sim was not something I expected. The only complaint I have is I wish there was an end screen where we can see what happens with the character, I was invested lol. All around awesome work guys!

Lovely game! One of my favorite so far. The art and premise are incredible, the gameplay was engaging and fun and the animation have a lot of charm. I was confused on what to do for a while but you guys can easily fix that later with some form of tutorial. Great job!

Really nice game, one of my favorite of this Game Jam! Love the Pixel art and the general mood. It was a bit confusing until I got how to cook the recipes, but then really enjoyable. Amazing work!
By the way, the clues about the recipes that the spirits said were very funny :D
The game is amazing. The animations, art, feel, sound effects, and the satisfying gameplay is superb. I find the part where you have to press the correct combination of arrows to cook to be quite pleasurable.
stall is absolutely gorgeous, and the animations are wonderful to watch! the idea of cooking to help souls pass on is so touching. i love the mechanics in choosing the different techniques and ingredients for the recipes! what a marvelous game!!

Very cool entry i love the aesthetics so much. I dont know if i missed something but i always just cooked random food, was there an indicator of what i was supposed to make? I kinda lost because of that. Anyway the story was really solid as well as the theme. Overall a great game! I'd love if you would check my game as well! cheers
