The game was so much fun tat I actually got dissappointed when my screen got stuck on an event screen, I only heard the clicking sounds but no buttons would react. Besides that, lovely game, I would actually buy the finished version. Music is nice, graphics are awesome, lovely game!

I love the music you used! Very jaunty. Gorgeous UI, too! I love the in-game explanatory tooltips for everything.

You were the only person on this team? And in five days?!? Astonishing. I might need you to be MY teacher. :') Though it sounds like it's just a passionate hobby for you, but you could have fooled me!

I LOVE the character names, and their voice effects! Wait, did you do those yourself too?! Incredible. The art is also amazing.

Hahaha, I discovered this by accident, but if you pause the game, then click a character a bunch of times, then unpause, it will play their vocal reaction stacked multiple times together.

Honestly, I think this is going to rank really highly in multiple categories. Fantastic entry!

Nice game. At one point one of the options seemed to hang, then suddenly it started working again. But I could no longer build anything. Then a bit later an option hung again. For a one person game jam game there's a lot to keep in mind and debug though. Only thing I would say on that is the second edit doesn't sound like a game breaking bug fix but more gameplay improvement. I wish I'd seen it before that to understand what you achieved in the jam (which is obviously a lot) better. But anyway, you set yourself a big challenge and I think you succeeded.

Hey! :D Thanks for the feedback. Sometimes you get runs without any bugs and sometimes quests hang. I dunno, why... And to the "game-breaking-bug". You are right. It wasn`t 100% gamebreaking. Players just couldn`t make it to the end and a gamejam wouldn`t make sense if you couldn`t show, what content you created..But in both uploads there was nothing changed except for some variables like spawn-probability. or a -2 instead of a 2. No Code was changed, nothing was added if you are concerned. ;)

I like this game A LOT! So much so that I tried to play this through 3 times. The 1st and 3rd time, the game got stuck during one of the challenge events. Nothing happens when I click either the check or the cross. On the 2nd run, a pack of monsters came into town. The villagers got rid of every monster except for one.  For whatever reason it won't die and end up killing everyone in the village. D: Great game still, I would play again and again if those (what I assumed to be) bugs are fixed.

As a city simulators enjoyer, this clicked instantly for me. Good job so far. Although there's so many stuff to play with, I like that the player isn't forced to use every mechanic to win: you can just keep building stuff until you win or you can finetune every villager to optimize resources.

The random events are a nice touch, although sometimes the resources asked may be a bit too much for early game. The font for the UI is nice, but I think its kind of rough to the eyes when the size is small, but that may be just me.

Nice game!  It was a little bit complicated at first but not too much.  I think if there was some list of your characters that you could open where they stayed in order or something could make it a little easier to manage them all.

This is impressive, especially for the short timespan of this jam. Fun game with pretty graphics! Pretty complex so it could do with more instructions and a tutorial if you move on with this project, which I hope you do! Well done.

The game is really fun and addictive to play, I really like the game visuals D. Would you mind trying out my game and rating it according :).

Wow there's so much in this game. It must have been a huge job for you as a solo developer! Amazing work! 😎

I enjoyed playing this and I'm glad there was a Pause button because I had to do some things WHILE I was on my mission to 130 happiness.  I thought the music and sounds were great, I loved the complex but simply executed mechanics around building your village and overall I had a lot of fun with this. I did get to 142/130 happiness and nothing seemed to happen - like it didnt end/I didnt win, but it was a journey to get there so I was satified nontheless :) Well done and great job.

it is a complex game, good job for completing the game!

A little bit complex but once you get the hang of it, it's really fun. The names and small events gave me a lot of nice moments and chuckles with the villagers and made me fear for their lives when an attack came. Good job making the game.

What a charming game! I like the art style, and the music you chose blends well, but I think the quests need balancing; early in the game I got impossible quests to validate. I also think it needs a bit of polishing here and there, especially the UI, but still, it’s impressive you built this in 5 days. Good job! :D

Definitely got hooked on this one. Amazing job!

At last I got victory, took me a few times to get it.

At the beginnig, a few quests pop up showed up and it was necessary to have like 300 in the bank or high stats. I don't know if it's random, but those could appear a bit later.

When there's not enough stats or money to validate a quest, maybe a different sound to indicate when we click the button that we can't.

That's just some polish. It's great to have done all that in 5 days.

The visuals are nice and the music is catchy, I found the controls somewhat slow but otherwise this is a really nice game

Great visual and audio polish. I couldn't figure out how to progress faster than the village attack frequency.

Could not stop playing!

Wow the amount of content you packed into this game jam game is incredible! Very charming and oddly addictive. At times it felt like information overload as there were too many notifications popping up when my villager count got high enough and I seemed to always fail expeditions every time, but otherwise this was an extremely well-done game. Fantastic job!
