A nice cute game with some great art and music!
Thanks for playing it! :)
This the cute fun game, I really like how detailed the character is and the animation are well responsive so are the controls and I like the instructions in the game, they really stand out and the music in the game fits well in the game and the toggle of the googles is nice and responsive, the game mechanics is nice as well maybe you should just had more guidance of what to do when yu pick something that will be cool and satisfying overall this a great game D.
Thank you so much! Doing all the animations definitely ate up most of the time, but they were fun to do :)
wow D, you did an amazing job and even me I did the animations they definitely take up time ;)
What a cute game. I liked that you made an animation to go idle although I kinda felt bad to flush the spirits down the toilet. I would prefer if there was an altar where they could just transcend.
Thanks for playing! It's ok, I'm sure the spirits will find their way back :) An altar is a great idea!
Don't you know that toilets are only designed for human waste? All the ghosts are gone but now you need to call a plumber to clear all the ectoplasm.
Good job making your assets. The ghost with the floppy bottom was funny. As far as gameplay goes, you need a reason to take the glasses off as part of the gameplay.
Good job and congratulations on submitting!
Thanks so much for playing! I agree about the glasses, but I decided to leave the take on/off functionality in there to try to make it feel like they were really in a different dimension. Live and learn! :)
Great game. Art is beyond praise. Congratulations!
Thank you so much! I'm definitely inspired to practice game art even more!
I love your style so much! The spirits' designs and animations are so cute. Loved their alternative bothered animations when you pick them up. This game has a particular vibe to it and I think it makes it so unique. Well done!
Hey thanks so much! I think my subconscious goal was really to see if I could make the art style and different animation states work, so I'm really happy how that turned out!
Cute! I liked the variety of the different spirits.
Thank you for playing it! :)
Cute little one. But perhaps camera could bit farther? Took me forever to find the toilet the first time around :D
Thanks for playing! I agree about the camera: I decided in the end to zoom in like I did because I didn't want to reveal too many spirits at the same time and lose detail in the character animations, but it does make it more difficult to find your way around. Lessons learned! :)
This game was a delight! Super straightforward controls, delightful music, and I can never turn my nose up at a good flush noise. I especially loved carrying ghosts around looking so perfectly placid. Great stuff!!
I love that feeling when you find the perfect sound effects :) Thanks so much!
I really loved the artwork on this, especially the little spirits. it was 95% smooth sailing for me but the caterpillar and eye spirit were a little hard to pick up but managed to get them. It was fun also trashing the book case and dining chairs lol, great work.
Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
The art was the real secret sauce in this one. The cartoony yet soulful aesthetic was wonderful. There was something so charming about all the little spirits. And the main character looks cool! I had a glitch where I couldn't pick up the snake once I tossed the couch, so I couldn't complete the game, but I still had fun. Your art would work really well with an adventure game. Great work!
Thank you for such nice comments!
Et tu, snakey-spirit?? That's one of the few I didn't have a problem with in testing haha
That's great to hear, because I would love to make an adventure game! Definitely need to get my colliders under control though :)
Very nice looking spirits! :) Collision was mostly good with only a few hiccups. I liked the art/animations, you did well!
Thank you for playing it! Yes please admire my animations which I spent way too long on and didn't leave myself enough time for playtesting :)
Dont be too hard on yourself! Everything went smooth when I played it :)
Love how the game looks and sounds. Somethings are a bit hard to interact with like the bedsheet or the bookshelf. Overall, lovely game.
Thank you so much! I've been working on smoothing out the interactions, but some of them really don't like to behave for some reason...
By far, my favorite spirit:
Had a glitch a few times over with the spirit hanging out on the desk. The character would appear to pick it up, the spirit would disappear. The character would apparently flush something down the toilet, but then the spirit would again be sitting on the desk. Third or fourth time it finally worked.
I think there's something you could do with the glasses so that they have to come off. Didn't seem like there was really a reason to toggle.
By the last spirit it was getting a little old - like it was time to speed up or make things a little more complicated.
It's a great game to make in 10 days.
I really like the hand drawn figures.
Thanks for playing! That one is definitely one of my favorite spirits too. Thanks for the feedback, I haven't run into that issue with the spirit disappearing and reappearing (mostly just collider issues), if I can replicate it I'll try to sort it out! Maybe the game is actually infested with spirits...
I really enjoyed this game and the art! it was kind of tough to figure out what to do at first but im glad i figured it out and beat it!
Thanks for playing, and for the feedback! I think I've learned I'll need to spend a bit more time on the instructions next time
Nice ghosts and chill music got me! The glasses were mostly ornamental, as you never really need to take them off. It's a super relaxing game! Good job!
Hey thank you so much! It's true about the glasses, you don't need to take them off, but I was hoping that would make it clearer that they are not part of our normal dimension
The ghosts were cute haha! It was quite relaxing, good music choice. I enjoyed it!
Thanks for playing!
What a lovely chill game enhanced with the calm music. I felt a little bad flushing down such a nice spirits. :D
Thanks for playing! Don't worry, I'm sure they'll be back
what a funny and cute idea. it took me a minute to figure out to flush them down the toilet and i was so happy when that was the case lol. and like another comment said i love the art style!
i had some trouble interacting with things, like i had to hit them at just the right angle or something. the cheeked up ghost made me laugh out loud but sadly i couldnt figure out how to pick them up, cuz the blanket collision got in my way. great job though all around!
Thanks so much! Yeah I'm hoping to smooth out some of those collision boundaries over the next couple days. Basically I spent way too long on all the sprites and ran out of time for play testing! Live and learn
Love the art style.
Thanks for playing! I just uploaded a version that works -- I fixed the interaction problems, the glasses can toggle, and most importantly, the toilet flushes!
Awesome, I'll check it out
