Really novel and unique take on the theme. Loved the voices! Both hilarious and badass! :)
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the game. That's what it's all about
I like the strategy behind the shooting I think this is really unique and fun. The powerups are a nice detail and everything feels really well thought out. I even think it's kind of challenging and there's some strategy behind shooting the claw in a specific way. I didn't beat it yet but may consider to play it again. I think you did a good job on this one.
Definitely needs clearer instructions, but everything else is really well done! Awesome job!
Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing! New version will have updated instructions, but it's mid-jam so I don't want to change it right now.
Nice game! I tried to avenge the lost but didn't get too far.
The art for you game is pretty neat, and the voice quips are great.
Nice job!
That was really fun and comical. Good job! It took me a couple of runs to figure out what to do, but it's really addicting. Nice work!
Thanks for giving it a go!
As a jam entry, I was hoping you'd be able to get the hang of it and win after a couple of attempts. Next version (after the jam) will have improved instructions and a different power up.
I had so much fun in this game! Loved the art and the gameplay!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it - that's the entire reason I make games in the first place.
Haha! Very funny! One of my favorite so far!
Love the character!
A suggestion for your next game: make that Teddy get out his stand and go look after his abducted friends! Like sneaking into houses at night, avoiding the cat that sleeps on the couch, go upstairs and finally free that poor Miss Bunny from her terrible KIDnapper! I can see it from there! It inspires me! lol
Great job!
We did it, Bunbun, we did it!
It took me a few tries! Actually it took a few tries before I realized I needed to recollect the ammo! Very cute in an action hero bear sort of way. I don't know if it's possible to get through without losing any plushies during the attack, I tried to protect them but I was down to one at the very end. Happily winning the battle returned them all!
Way to go!
Yes, it's possible to win without losing plushies, but it's hard. Maybe I'll have different endings in some future edition.
I had a good laugh. Great entry
Based on the cover image, I HAD to try the game! :p
It was fun for a bit, but the gun was not really effective against the machine.
Nice SFX though and it made me smile.
Very cool idea the voice acting is really funny, really nice art as well great job.
Absolutely loved this game! It's hilarious, has great graphics, fun and engaging gameplay, and even voice acting. Great work!
Kiss my fluff !
Really liked this game! From the graphics of the plushies to the voice acting. Nicely polished, one of my favorites game on this Game Jam ^^
Well done !
Hahaha! Thanks for playing! Your game clearly marks you as a fan of audio, so I appreciate you noting it here.
That's actually my favorite voice line in the game. Also when he says "Say hello to my plastic friend" there's a little "clack clack!" at the end.
Oh, I amuse myself, haha
I like the graphic style. Enjoyed playing the game
Incredible game! love the visual style, voice acting, sound in general, and fun mechanic. Great job overall!
So glad you had fun!
I like the music, and the gameplay is very fun. Nice job!
I love the voice acting and the art... are these digitized plushies of yours?
Thanks!
No, the plushies, claw machine, etc are all 3D elements I created in Blender. I had previously made the bear for a different project, but had never rigged him or really finished him up.
The environment, claws, etc are all new. Miss Bunny, Elephant, and Penguin are brand new models while the purple bunny and blue bear were riffed off the base Teddy model.
I played your tower defense game as well!
Cool, the art style has something... dang, I don't know a good word for it... stylized realism?
But I think you mix me up with someone else, I didn't do a tower defense game ;p
Oh yes! I played that one as well.
I was thinking art stand, haha - I've played a lot of games lately.
It looks fantastic! I really like the ammo recycling mechanic. Also the voice acting is a really nice touch! Good job!
Cool! Thanks for giving it a try.
I had a great time with the voice acting - I think it elevated the game quite a bit.
My favorite thing on that little pop gun is how you can see your ammo inside of it instead of showing a counter on screen.
Yes! It’s a brilliant and elegant way to show the ammo count!
Really nice! The voice acting was great lol. It did take me a second to understand what I was supposed to do, and I had a bug where i would occasionally just start walking in a direction without pressing anything. This was really fun once I got the hang of it though, great job!
Glad you enjoyed it! I'll play yours too.
Thanks for the bug report - I'll check that out after the jam is over.
A simple idea executed perfectly, well done!
The voice acting is the best part, in my opinion
Thanks, I appreciate it! It was fun to create all the lines and then hear Teddy really come to life.
