I had to go afk for a moment as I've started the game, and the instructions were already gone before i got up from my seat, you may want to add a "press to continue" pause to give the user time to read it properly.
There's some parts of the navigation through the map that feels off due to the collisions, places where from the camera's point of view you should be more than able to fit trhough, you just can't.
The game is nice and it's a interesting idea, well done for such a sort time period!
Cheers, i hope this helps ;)
Hi, thanks for the detailed review.
Yes, regarding the instructions - we've already realized that it's quick)
It's very strange that you couldn't find more hot dogs, as they are almost everywhere.
For the map, I understand. This was our first gamejam, so maybe not everything is perfect as we would like, but we will work.
I will give it a try again, the flu was starting to get to me and had to take a break, could've easily missed something, sorry. Thank you for the reply :)
https://gyazo.com/af8f0af76caaddb914e52b38fa1813ec This is what I've meant, happens with this Hot dog, but when playing it the first time that was the only one that I've found, yes. After you said that and giving it one more try to check, and found others, all of them without issues for picking them up, like these: https://gyazo.com/c27a2bb645cff2e5afffadc399ea0efe.
One thing that I didn't mention was that I liked the menu and the introduction animation, cheers ;)
Ahahaha, thanks for stopping by to play again) I'll know that this hot dog is buggy.
Thanks for the review.
Quite thematic and morbid, especially considering world events.
I liked it, I only wish the field of view was larger because I find small FOV somewhat clastrophobic, but even AAA games tend to have FOV too small for my taste.
Thanks for the review and for the feedback. We will take this comment into consideration. Thank you!
Really funny and unnerving lol, good stuff!
The page at the beginning where it gives the instructions on what to do faded away pretty much immediately before I could read them, so I had to start a new game to try and see the rest of the instructions which was a bit annoying to have to wait through the whole intro again.
Hi, thanks for the feedback. We too were wondering if this window would be a quick one. We will fix it in the future!
This game is very dark but funny. The odd character models kind of add to the atmosphere, and the music was on point. Nice work.
Thank you! I also enjoyed your game, it's very cool!
I've played your submission. It was unexpected to hear voice lines in a game jam game, they sound great! :)
Thank you, just appreciating your game!
Good submission! I like that you can hit things with the axe, nice addition
Thank you!
Nice stuff! Definitely got a few good chuckles in :)
Thank you!
Liked the funny sounds for the jumping and things like that, it was pretty fun, nice job on it!
Thank you!
Wow that was a really fun and immersive experience! The haunting rendition of Jingle Bells was the chef's kiss for me in terms of bringing the sobering holiday atmosphere. I also appreciated the variety of the jump sounds that was a very nice touch. I succumbed to radiation fairly quickly on my first attempt but on my second I was channeling my inner Klaus and scooping up all the goodies to spread one final Christmas cheer.
Amazing project!
Thank you for your feedback! It's nice to read, we tried our best!
Great job making a complete experience with UI and sound effects. The "forgiving" nature alone makes me want to give it 5 stars as I got all the gifts and was going to the slay; but got trapped by raindeer and had a game over; but was reliefed that I didn't have to get all 20 presents again (so thank you for being kind to the player!)
Ahahaha, thank you!
Yes, we made sure to save the data to make it easier for players to feel the whole atmosphere of the game.
That was a fun gaming experience and nice spin on the theme. I thought the level design was great and showcased a lot of work. I was hoping to use santa's axe but it didn't seem to do anything! I can't imagine how santa's going to get out of that final predicament! Well done on your game submission.
Thank you very much) The axe is needed for defense against deer. They can kill you.)
This one made me laugh. All of the assets your selected fit together very nicely. Good job!
Thank you!
I had to laugh at Santa doing his best samurai impression every time he jumped XD
Nice entry overall; it feels like a lot of effort went into making things feel smooth! I did find that both the news ticker and the first tutorial message went way too fast to to read properly, but it didn't actually stop me from figuring out what to do and playing through the whole thing. Great stuff!
Thank you! Yeah, we thought it might be fast, too. We will take your feedback into account and make this part better!
Really liked your entry. The voice acting was really quite great! I think some of the most immersive that I have experienced in a game jam. Proud of your team this was an awesome game.
Thank you for your review. It's my pleasure. We enjoyed your game too!
Really nice entry. We love the sound effects and the overall atmosphere. The level is designed well; it feels like an adventure game with some survival elements. Pretty nice. Only one thing: it would be nice if the list were moved somewhere down on the screen or if some small transparency were added because it's blocking the view a little
Thank you for your review. It's my pleasure. Thank you for the suggestion, we will take it into consideration.
I love the sound , did you made santa?
Hi, thank you. Santa was taken from this asset:

haha the ending cutscene, also the jump sound. really well done with the art of the game. Also I saw lots of things in the game which were not used at all, like the axe, and the stats. would love to see how it comes out to be.
Also the main menu is done so well.
Hi, thanks for playing. You can kill deer with the axe, they also attack you. You may have caught some new bug. Thanks for your feedback, we have tried and will continue to work on the game.
wow ... 500lbs? Hilarious
Hi, thank you!
Why Zelenskyy lool
Hi. We are developers from Ukraine. That's why we left references and passphrases in the game.
Good game!
I liked the cutscene at first :)
Thank you!
