This is so cool! Great job getting this done in 10 days :) Keep making games
Thank you! I hope you liked it!
I like the game but maybe next time a web version would be better :D
Very good game ! It looks like Vampire Survivor and its very nicely done !
I struggle to choose the upgrade as I was clicking a lot to attack then when the upgrade show up I just click without really choosing ^^' maybe you could add some confirmation on what we want to buy as an upgrade to prevent player to click on something ;)
But overall the game is very good !
Thanks for playing it! I've already got some changes planned for the upgrades so people won't missclick them!
Very fun survivors style game! The visuals of the upgrade UI with the cards popping up into focus and then shaking a bit was very sleek.
Thanks for playing! I hope you liked it!
Neat game, I liked the bouncing that the player wizard does.
I wish there was an autofire feature, there was quite a bit of pain from a 5min survival session.
And I internally swore whenever I accidentally clicked an upgrade because I was spamming attacks :P
Still pretty good though, combat felt nice.
Nice job :D
Thanks for playing it! I'm gonna definitly implement auto shot and i'll add a delay on upgrades soon!
Ayyy, looking forward to it!
Really great submission! The animation on the wizard especially feels satisfying, controls feel great, enemies feel dialed in. There is a lot of skill on display here from you two 👍
My own piece of critique is the same as ivanlanc's : What ends up happening I think to a lot of folks is that we are furiously clicking our left mouse button to attack and so when an upgrade pops up we choose one really fast by accident without reading it. After a while I learned to watch my experience bar and when I was close to an upgrade I slowed down on my mouse button a bit to make sure I wouldn't miss the choice. I think once you get that ironed out this is gonna feel super polished!
Awesome work!
Thanks for playing it! I will definitly add a delay between picking upgrades and auto shot soon!
I was watching my team mate Christian-J-Pereda-Rives when he played the game . I like the gameplay and the art of the game , I love the UI too. Nice job
Thanks for playing it! I hope you liked it
Nice work, you have a good core loop to build upon with more upgrades and enemies. Well done!
Thanks for playing it! I'm suprised i managed to get this much done with having to balance work honestly but it was fun!
Nice little game! It is well polished and fun to play. I was clicking so much to fire that occasionally I would click an upgrade before the card had fully animated into position. It also seemed like the music would start over at the beginning sometimes when an upgrade was chosen. Great work on your submission!
Thanks for playing it! I'll make sure to add a delay between picking up upgrades in future!
Good game!
Thanks for playing!
A fun little game to play! Looking forward to future updates. Love the cute style. Well done!
Thanks for playing it! I'm gonna cook something up soon. Not giving any eta for now since i have to balance work with updating the game!
Not bad at all! The clicking definitely gets repetitive and there's a bug that causes the spell damage to reset sometimes, but I had a good time with this one. The bouncy wizard was particularly memorable, lol XD
Glad you liked it! When i get some more time i'm gonna do some bug fixing!
5 stars all the way down for me! I loved this game. I'm even going to save it for later play on my computer. If you expanded on it, I would def play more levels. Great job!
That's the plan! I plan to port it in future on phones so i have something to play at work lmao! Also some story will be included!
Can't wait! 😻
Pretty fun it would have been more fun if there were more type of enemies and different type power ups. It gets pretty repetitive but still it's fun killing them 😈 Keep up the good work
Hey I hope you liked it! As for more upgrades and enemies I prefered to keep it simpler for the time of the jam, and story is planned I just didn't have time for it
This is really cute and fun, congrats! I couldn't make it to the 10 minute mark lol, I kept dying and gave up. But that's on me, I'm terrible at this type of game lol.
I hope you liked it!
Got to the 10mins, this game was fun! I do love me a roguelike haha. To second EnerQi, I too was pressing bonuses before they popped up which was probably the biggest meaningful issue I had. Awesome job - p.s. the little enemies are cute too haha
Extra feedback notes for if you were to polish/bug fix:
Thanks for playing! Addressing feedback self damage if you don't move will be fixed soon, I'll also add press and hold for shooting .
I'll be sure to fix the mentioned issues when I'll get the time to!
Oh cool, I wasn't sure if the self damage was a bug or feature intended to make you move around constantly tbh... feature now? ;P haha. Again, good job on the game!
Nice game, very fun to play.
When gaining a bonus, disable input for 3 seconds. I was firing almost non-stop and pressed half of the time already on a bonus before ever reading what it was.
I'll be sure to fix that in future thanks for feedback!
It looks like a nice game.
Wasn't able to play for long before my antivirus killed it though.
I noticed you made it in Godot, I did mine in Godot as well. Did you sign your application? If you made it on a Windows system you can download the Windows (version) SDK that will include a "signtool.exe", in Godot's Export settings you can then tell Godot about the signtool application.
When I was testing my Windows build I had the same problem I experienced when I tried to run your game and "signing" the application seemed to fix it for my build, not sure if it worked for other players though.
Oh thank you! Last game jam I had the same problem! When I'm back I'll be sure to check it out!
What is your antivirus? I have bitdefender, and it doesn't do this for me. The game I (we) submitted is also Godot, would be curious to see more about this signing thing and how many peopole might have an issue. Never really heard of it!
I'm thinking of posting a devlog or something similar that outlines the process in one place, but basically if you google search for your Windows version and SDK you should be able to find the download link for the SDK. Then download and install the SDK. This will include the signtool for your version of Windows.
Once that is done, point Godot to the signtool in the editor settings and make sure you have filled the Company/Developer details in your project settings.
When you export to Windows, Godot will use the sign tool to "sign" the application using the details from the project settings.
Hello again, made a post for Godot instructions on code signing, here.

Nice game, For anyone else that plays, hit the 10 minute mark and there will be a surprise.
I hope you liked it!
very fun little game
