The background music and the dummy art styile its grate but at the beggining its a little bit hard to know the controls. Also it fits well with the jam theme. It was fun to play!!

Awesome submission! Really cool idea you could expand upon in the future.
Only issue I had was the UI buttons weren't clickable without my controller plugged in.
Nice Game, not sure why ui buttons if there not clickable. I really the jumpscare aspect of the game as well, trying for a highscore is addicting and engaging

The buttons being unclickable was a dumb mistake by me pulling an all nighter then running out of time to fix it :/

I'm not an expert in 2D graphics, as I only create 3D games, but I liked the drawing of monsters. As for me, I didn’t really understand what my choice does when selecting crystals and the controls are not very clear when I first enter the game. At first I thought that the game did not work when I could not click on the start button with the mouse

Music and background sfx choice is very atmospheric, loved it. Visuals are also pleasant and pretty inspiring :>
In terms of gameplay - feels tense and exciting enough to keep player's attention in! However, enemies behaviour patterns are a bit too... Unpredictable? For example, there were two times in a row when I used TVs and was teleported straight into the orange ghost ;D
It would be cool to work on their paths - look into Pacman's ghosts, for example.
Wanted a bit more juice - maybe some sound or particles upon picking an item, same for getting caught. Otherwise, bouncy and pleasant enough, great job)
thanks for the feedback! That’s a good point about the teleporter thing… I didn’t really have time to make a good spawn system so they all just spawn kinda near the teleporter which is really not ideal
Really like the small vision where its more risky to go in some places along with abilities that help me escaping certain situation.
The user interface is a bit difficult to understand. I realize later that you use spacebar instead of mouse
Nice game mechanics and art it was fun playing it! however, the controls are a bit weird. it took me some time to realize that I have to click start using the space bar or to move around with the arrows instead of WASD
good point! Idk what I was thinking with not using wasd lol in hindsight that’s def more normal
I enjoyed the art and the concept. Placing the lamps to provide vision game me moba ward placement vibes, haha. Unfortunately, a lot of downloadable unity games tend to only run full screen and I have a very large, weird monitor (for productivity) that scales most of the games wrong, making it hard to play them properly. I'd love to try a WebGL or windowed version of the game. Was still interesting and had a nice aesthetic and sense of humor.

This was a fun game! I definitely felt tense a few times once I had stolen enough money.
This was really fun! i loved the mechanic of using the toilet as a way to teleport and escape, the randomness of the items and trying to learn what exactly they do made the game felt quite fresh everytime i picked a new item.

Having to improvise with the items you got is a cool idea ! the effects are interesting and the drawings are funny.
Unfortunately, I never really felt smart using the items, I don't know if they work or not, but I couldn't block enemies using the bubble gum or understand what most items were doing.
I still had fun exploring the mall and readidng items description, goodd job ! :)
Is a nice game, however the controls and the sound effects needs polishing, the art was good and the idea was really good, nice game overall
hahaha this was nice. loved the silly vibe of the game. the nintondo swatch, using the tv warps to escape the drooling goons, and all the references in the items (on wednesdays we wear black). the only "problem" i experienced was when i first turned on the game i thought that the audio wasn't working because there's no main menu music or sounds out the gate. very well done tho! Will definitely be showing this to my partner when she gets home for a good laugh.
Me and my girlfriend checked it out, we really loved the art style and music. It reminded me of old shows I would watch (not sure why but Blu from Fosters home came to mind with the main character).
I also think the lighting system works really well!

basically the same here. I did all of the coding then my GF made the voxel models and any artwork related things. Combo helps save time haha.
The highlight of this, for me, is the art style and general character of the game. The gameplay is pretty basic but there's a lot of charm and polish. Nice job!
