It is very very good game. I love the games throw you in a situation and you need to figure it out by yourself. well done!

Loved the game ! :D

I was able to get 12/13 ! :O

Until the game spawned 3 flames in the same time :`)

Great job !

I enjoyed the game, but I found it to be pretty hard, even though I cheated a bit and gathered all of the waste before starting the incinerator.

Congrats on your jam submission and your first game made on itch.io! It's great to see new devs join GDevelop's Big Game Jam event. That being said, here are my thoughts about your game.

I like the retro 3D graphics. It reminds me of the old PS1 games back in the '90s. The controls were confusing at first, but after a few minutes, I was able to learn how to move my way around the place quickly. In my several playthroughs, I kept on losing on the first hazard--once because I didn't know where it was, and the other times because I kept on bumping into or obstacles, not knowing where the doors were, or not getting past the doors because they closed too fast. My suggestion is to make it easier for players to know where they are going when they are carrying the hazard barrel; it was too big and was blocking my vision. I also suggest that you have the doors stay open for several seconds when they open them and then have them close shortly afterwards-- kind of like the doors in the classic Doom games in the '90s. And finally, make the doors different colors, because it was hard to tell where I was supposed to go unless I pulled open a map.

I love the atmosphere and environment in this game! The sound design is pretty crispy too. However, I do wish that the character either had more stamina or we had more time to put out fires. I was almost done with the game and lost to a fire despite dropping everything to get the extinguisher and put it out >:(

love the graphic style on this game, the 3D pixel vibe is great. Plays well and controls are good!

This game is really underrated. The gameplay is engaging, and the art style is really cool—it reminds me a bit of Alien or something in that direction. It was kind of weird that the camera always tilts to the right, but it's still a very fun game. If this is really your first game, you absolutely nailed it.

Hey, thanks for the comment!

I've had the same issue with the camera on other first-person games here, apparently it's a problem with the itch version, on gdgames it's stable.

It's actually my first game, but I've been lucky enough to be able to work on it full time. I'm glad you enjoyed!

Got as far as burning the first haz material. It's a charming style for sure! Seems like you might've had a lot of fun making this. Maybe a little repetitive for a full playthrough.

I definitely had fun! Thanks for the feedback, the initial draft included more diverse tasks, but I realized I didn't have time to implement everything

It’s a good game, the graphics are nice, the sounds are simple, but also pleasant, the exception is probably the fire extinguisher, by the way, the sound of the fire extinguisher froze for me once, and was buzzing in my headphones all the time, but this is a non serious problem. For this game I even came up with a tactic, I brought all the boxes and the fire extinguisher to the burner and then burned them one by one so that I wouldn’t get lost later, it almost worked! I burned 12 boxes out of 13 and lost due to radiation, because I didn’t understand that 2 radio barrels arrived in a row, almost at the same moment, I burned one, and thought that the alarm was because of it, so I never passed, it takes a lot of time. Speaking of training, I didn’t immediately understand what a fire extinguisher is and what a radiation barrel is, you’d better post pictures of them, unless of course it harms the setting of the game, good job and good luck in the future!

Thanks for the feedback! This was my first game ever, I got lost in a lot of details and didn't find time to do a proper playtest.

I plan to fix all the little problems after the jam is over. Great tactic btw, I recommend leaving the extinguisher in a more central location.

Thanks again for taking the time to write this post, and good luck to you too!

Big fan of the low poly pixel art here. Would give it 5 stars but the pixels are too clean looking. Game is fun all round, running to try and get the hazarded items to the burner puts one in a unstable panic 5 stars for that. Awesome concept reminds me of Slender man.
