My personal favorite of the jam. It's brilliance wasn't fully apparent until literally when it ended. Man I want to play more, and in a windows build so it has better performance. How did you make a metroidvania in such a short time? Full 5 stars.
thank you so much. Took about 10 hours on and off but impressed by my own speed.
I had so much fun with this on stream. Both playing and analyzing it. Excellent work. Looking forward to what you make next.
got a link to the stream? Would love to follow you
I tried tagging you on Discord, but couldn’t find your handle. Your game starts at 3h51m.

watched one of them already, make for great background TV as I'm getting on with other bits. Not had chance to checkout to many project in the jam so this was really helpful.
This is a really interesting and unique environment, very fun place to explore. What a fun entry! I love the postit notes and marker pens and other flourishes that really sell this space.
One of the more unique locations that I have come across so far. I really feel like you can go far with this idea. This is the type of game where you can get away with simple hand drawn art instead of blocking out the level like you did. The character art is perfect, why not do this for all aspects of the game? How about adding some in some other colors each with their own effect? How can you incorporate the sticky notes, magnets, and other items in to the gameplay?
Would love to see more, great start.
I made a game with a similar idea. It may give you some ideas if you want to take a look. https://loten.itch.io/you-do-doodle-too
thanks for the inspo
thanks Loren. Idea I have is moving to off the whiteboard to paper and have a whiteboard stick man in a pencil sketch world (or maybe an art canvas). Going forward, it would be great to have a less static design like the 3x3 whiteboard grid.
great little platformer, would love to see more with this idea
Well Done!
Great game. Hope you make it through to round 2 so we can see more.
this is like if you mix fancy pants, vex 4, and big tower tiny square with white boards. i love it realy want to see more of this game!
Metroidvanias and platformers are where I plan on focusing in the future. So I always like to take note of good ones. And this definitely is a good one. The few suggestions I have are things you already made note of or have been mentioned already. Really good entry. Looking forward to seeing this take shape.
This is really good, love the location and the movement in it as well as the effects from the lightning and artwork around the level. There were a few places I fell out of the whiteboard and felt it was unfair to die walking into the side of the crushing bits. It was super fun to play though and loved to explore all of the areas and I got to the end. Look forward to more levels with the dash ability in it
thanks for taking the time to review the game 🙂
I am aware of a few bugs. The crusher a big area of focus for the next build and the are filled with game and graphical bugs. Thought I removed all area you could fall off, more testing required.
I love this art style ! The location is super unique and I love the little touches like the blue tack, markers, sticky notes, and magnets on the board
Looks like such a good game, a shame that it won't run for me, instead glitches out and says something or rather on my browser is out of date, it isn't, however when I went to go play something else developed in construct it showed the exact same thing, despite me playing games made in construct before yours, there's clearly something wrong there.
this is such a unique location, and i love the art style!
really nice game, premise and great adaptation to the theme, id really like to see a long metoidvaia game in this style
thank you. I'm current thoughts are maybe having different levels of different medians. Maybe he falls off the whiteboard onto paper and has to navigate a world on a sketchpad or maybe he lands on an art canvas.
