This is a good concept: managing your power usage under fire can require some quick clicking
As things are presently, personally I'd say the enemies spawn too infrequently to pose too much of a threat, and moving doesn't seem to benefit you much.
Perhaps if your shields/weapon had a charge level which needed time to recover?
...well take from that what you will ^^;

Funny little game with interesting idea and adequate polishing. Nice job.

Very nice use of the theme!

I made it beyond 9 minutes before I stop. Very cool idea, but very easy. The right-click quick select made the game extremely easy. Well done :)

Cool game! Cool art, and overall easy to play! I thinks some kind of difficulty progression would be nice, played around 20 minutes and the game felt like it did not get harder to me over time, so it gets a bit boring. Raising the difficulty over time could help this. I also found that I nearly never moved around, and mostly switched between shield and gun. So some kind of reason to use the movement module more would probably a great addition, as it is already implemented ;D But otherwise a nice, chill game!

One of the better "only one ability at a time" games this jam! Well executed but as others already have stated, there should be a goal other than surviving as long as possible. For example going back to your "mother ship" where you need to overcome some obstacles underway.

Very good game!

Beautiful art, and the controls are very smooth and well executed. The design is pretty good. My congrats on the game!

If you continue working on it, I would like to see an arcade like thing (with monster waves, new enemies, and a score...) or something Zelda-like. It would be fun!

Great job my dude, I really enjoyed it! My only issue is the difficulty, or the lack thereof, as it's pretty easy to go on forever without losing any health (or healing if you do). It would be nice if the difficulty had a (steeper?) ramp, so that we could have a goal to beat, or some cool score to flex, but atm there isn't anything stopping you from living forever. Maybe you could have allowed multiple enemies to be on the screen at once? Still tho, great game, like beaver joe says, the graphics are amazing.

Your art looks more skillful and professional. The theme is perfectly match with the The Only.  The Movement cursor design so cute. I am pretty like it. And the bottom operator is one of the best good game design in this jam. Nice game!

(I expect to pick up the eye drop on the ground when I played your game)

I really like the concept and the use of the theme on the game. Although it's a pretty easy game, with some balancing and maybe some pickups for example you can get a very solid experience.

That was solid gameplay. Balancing has some issues, you don't really need to walk and the amount of enemies on screen at the same time is, in my opinion, too small, you can go infinite with ease. But other than that, you nailed the concept and execution. Very good!

I liked the variety of options with the chips, although I only found myself using the attack and heal chips. Switching between chips was the perfect balance of being cumbersome, but not frustrating. Really fun game!

Lacks sound effects. Nice animations. Good prototype for a game!

Cute little game with great potential! Quite liked it! :)

The art is really good but the game lacks good feel/ juice. And the design is okay as well. I found it super easy to just stand in the middle and shoot at everything, and then shield when the projectiles came in.  I like the idea though. If you guys expand upon it and give the player more reason or agency to do things such as move, dropping some pickups maybe or something else that im sure you guys can come up with. It will really help the design. Also there is no clear end goal and I played till about the 9 min mark and then died just to see what happens.

I'll end on a positive note, the art is reallllyy good! And for such a short time period it is an impressive product!

This is a fun concept. I think it would be interesting to add negative consequences to your abilities as well. Like potentially draining energy when shooting or when your shield gets hit. Less so than actually taking damage but would add a nice risk/reward system. Really enjoyed!

Very nice concept, never seen that mechanic before.

Once I mastered the quick switch I felt UNSTOPPABLE!

But yeah, if you added levels and a progression I think this would do well, maybe even on mobile.

Nice twist for your game concept!

If one thing would make it better I would say is to add rapid access to the modules but with the keyboard (like use 1,2,3 and 4 to switch module).

What a clever idea! I really like the visual style and animations as well, great job on those. The music got a bit repetitive after a while, but that's really my only complaint: very clever idea, well executed. Good job.
