Wow! That was really fun!
Loved the interpretation of the one bullet concept.
But the highlight for me was the IA, I'm impressed! Good job!
I wish I had someone else to play this with! Looks really great though! A nice multiplayer approach to the one bullet concept!
This one is fun.
Nice game!
Common concept but being a duel makes it more interesting also the concept of comebacks and reducing the size of the arena is cool!
But I want juicy feedback on hit and more VFX with the current art direction!
I appreciate the feedback!
If we had any more time it would 100% be spent on juicing it up even more.
Nice graphics, fun game! I included it in my GMTK Game Jam 2019 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
Love the visual and the gameplay. Goob job!
Fun co-op game. The losing player is punished pretty hard though since he has less space to move and winning player always starts with the spear.
Thank you for the feedback.
This is why we implemented the comeback mechanic where the closer to you the wall is - the further it will move back if you manage to kill your opponent despite your sticky situation.
Aha didn't notice! Clever solution.
Nice dodgeball esq game! super cool, it could probably see play next to games such as samurai gunn and towerfall.
Not a lot of multiplayer games available for this jam, good one you have here.
I played the AI version and died the first time but then mwahaha I got my revenge and it was soo sweet.
Its seems like cool idea ut the controls weren't working (maybe its because we had both PS4 controller ?) So I don't want to rate the game, unless you know how I can fix it...
Do you use something like InputMapper to map your ps4 input to xinput?
The joystick movements work just fine and everything it just I can't pick up the spear... It shoots when approach it and I can only shoot in one direction. I'll try the InputMapper! Thx alot!
It seems like the shoot button is inverted, try running the game via steam (add as non-steam game) as steam will map anything to xinput.
Really cool take on dodgeball! I really like how you have to run to the middle to grab the spear. Really great sprite art and effects! (like the players and fire) Really great job making this in 48 hours! Please check out my entry if you have time, good day!

Greatfull graphics, dance and shadow amazing! I have one controller, and cannot check all gameplay, but this look interesting!
Hey, glad you like it. There is however a build of the game that plays vs an AI, the link can be found in the game description on the game page.
One-spear quarrel with your friend, A perfect game for couch party!
Love it!! and your game deserves more eyes and stars... if you can make this a coop this is gonna go miles on steam..
all the best for the rest of the jam

Love the visual style, nice job!
Very dynamic and well polished . Your game has a lot of potential .
Well done
I appreciate it! Is there anything you can think of that you wish was different?
Just a keyboard control for those who don't have a controller .
Yea this was like an instant regret thing after submitting the game haha I don't know how we didn't realize we would need keyboard control. There is however a link in the game description for a build of the game where the right player is an AI instead and you can optionally use keyboard + mouse to control the left player.
Thanks ! luckly I had two controllers .
Btw this game could be a really cool project ,with an online mode .
Great to see another game that utilises the concept of only one weapon. I decided to go a bit retro with my rendition of the concept: https://mark-auman.itch.io/one-shot-in-the-chamber. Either way, keep up the good work!
Ok, it looks really cool!
Thanks!
