The main mechanic is such a good idea. The puzzles really nicely introduced new concepts just to later need the mastery of them. The playing this just feels so nice and the game is very polished

This game is so polished and has a really cool control mechanic. Really impressive stuff here!

Well done!

This was definitely a great mechanic. Everything was well polished and the pace of the game was nice adding elements at a nice pace. The pixel art and animations were incredible as well. Nice job overall :)

Really original take on the theme and well executed !

This is fantastic! I could see it becoming a full release game I'd pay for!

Fantastic execution! Had a huge amount of polish for the a 48h game jam. The level select map was a nice touch. And of course the game itself was fun too. Good concept and good level design!

Really cute and fun game! Can't believe you made this in 48 hours!

Very good game!

Probably the best game I've played so far this jam! It's beautifully presented, the mechanics in play are really clever, the puzzles are engaging and well-crafted, and it's just plain charming.

Thank you so much for playing on stream and putting the recording up on YouTube! I'm resting up from the weekend but I look forward to playing your game too, the music I've heard so far sound really good :)

I loved it! This game made just within 48h, this is gorgeous! (Level 9 is too hard ;) I will continue playing the game tomorrow!) Great job! Excellent puzzle platformer!

This game is incredible, it's so well polished for a 48h jam! And the mechanics is fun and addictive, I hope you'll continue in the future! I think that your game is the best entry I play until now

This game was SO GOOD! Holy. Putting something like this together in 48 hours is such a huge achievement! The sound fits so well, the game just feels GREAT. The line of sight works as expected, the puzzles and level design are fantastic, you get introduced to ideas at a great pace, the challenge increases at a good pace and there is an additional level of mastery available by collecting the sushi. So. Good.

Great game. I enjoyed it a lot. Nice level transition. I also love the mirrors, very cool.

Submitted(+1)

Wow, very good... one of the best games I tried so far, love the optics, the puzzles, the sushi ;-)

That was quite impressive. Really well thought out and polished for 48 hours. Though, why doesn't the guy move to the newly unlocked level in the level select screen? There is also no way to return to the level select screen when you're in a level. In level 2 I also had trouble figuring out how to get the second knight on the floor with the red gate. Though, I did end up making it to the hall of mirrors.

Developer

Thank you for playing and I'm happy to hear you continued on and made it all the way to the hall of mirrors!

I agree with all your feedback. If I were to redesign parts of the game I'd make the player automatically move to the next level to avoid accidentally entering the level you just beat and also add a button to get back to level select. I would also redesign level 2 a bit more to introduce momentum conservation in a clearer way and add an additional section to demonstrate how to stack the player on a statue without a failure state.

You could always do those things in a post-jam version. The core of the game is pretty solid after all.

The level design was really great for only 48 hours. I liked the fact that the people you could possess were multi-purpose. The art and mechanics were both really well polished. Well done!

very impressive! I absolutely adore the multi-purpose mechanics and clever level design, which is totally not something you can take for granted for a 48hr game!!

my only criticism is that I never really felt "out of control", but with what you've achieved here, it's honestly a minor gripe. make a full game!

An amazingly polished game for 48 hours! Great art and mechanics. Controlling statues was seamless. I had frame-rate issues on the mirror scene, but no biggie. This is truly an awesome game.

Really good, easy contender for the best game of the Jam
