Fantastic work, even though the arts and sounds are not original, it was a great implementation! And I loved the main mechanics! The game is really fun!

Developer

Thanks for playing!! I made like 90% of the art but since there was no option that said "I made most of the art" I went with the honest option xD.. Music is borrowed 100%, I've no idea how to make music.

Most original game I've seen yet!

Developer

It was a pretty cool concept. I got a bit stuck though when I opened the gate in the first part after getting the cheat device but I still couldn't walk though it

Developer

Hey thanks for playing!! That's weird, did you try reloading the level? I'm sorry that happened to you! Haven´t seen that bug yet.. I'll take  a look into it

I tried again and it worked perfectly, not sure what caused that one then!

Developer (2 edits)

Nice!! Sorry for the bug, I've no idea what could've been xD. I hope it's not happening to many people. Thanks for the feedback!

Developer

The idea is great! Would like a lot bigger screen for the "actual" game.

Developer(+1)

Hi! Thanks for playing! I got that feedback from another player too, I only playtested on my PC and it seem good, I should've tested in other devices too haha. Thanks for the feedback! :D

The aesthetic and visuals are quite nice, good work :D

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing my game! I'm glad you liked it! :D

I don't know what to do when the cheatmaster is plugged in? I can place a gate, link it to a switch, and then nothing happens? I'm stuck in the starting area.

Developer

Hey, connection goes in a single direction, connect the switch to the gate and then flip the switch with space. That should open the gate. You can connect the gate to another element and make a chain. Did you connect it that way and nothing happened?

Hey that was a fun puzzle game!

I like the gameboy presentation, and the scribbled notes over the instructions.
Took me back to the 90s when I had hand drawn maps of my games with notes written all around!

Developer

Thanks for this comment! That's exactly what I was trying yo achieve, so knowing that someone else felt like that is great! :D , that  and the old-school game's sense of being lost and don't really knowing what to do next. Thank you for playing, I'm glad you liked it!

I loved the missingno. esque glitching in this game.

Puzzles were fun and it was a great concept! I think I appreciate that struggling with the controls with the cheating device are the basis for the puzzles but sometimes I think maybe I felt like I was struggling a little too much.

But that's the only think I could say. Overall this is such a fun concept.

Developer

Hey thanks for playing! The controls were part of the out of control interpretation, maybe it's too out of control. The idea was to add a bit of extta difficulty to cheating. I'm glad you liked it, thanks for the feeback!

Submitted(+1)

The controls felt off after inserting the CheatMaster. I think moving the character and the target at the same time was just sort of confusing. Having some way of toggling the cheat master controls on and off would have been preferable. It's an interesting concept though, and the visuals look cohesive and polished.

Developer

Took awhile to get a hang of the controls, but after that, it's a pretty great game!

Developer

Thanks for playing!! Making the pointer hard to control was part of the design, a bug that actually liked as a feature.

It was a bit confusing and the instructions weren't too clear, but the idea and the fun i had playing were something of note!

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing!! I tried to make the game self explanatory at frist, but it's impossible so I added the instructions sheet, but it was too late to add another type of tutorial. I'm glad you liked it! :D

Submitted(+1)

I really like the presentation and game feel. although I did find the gameplay a bit confusing.

Developer

Hey sorry for that, yes the game is a bit hard to grasp. I didn't really have time to add a more advanced tutorial, that's why I kept the instruction sheet on the back all the time. It's my bet to hope that people will understand how to play. I really didn't have enough time to add another tutorial

Very unique and cool concept, would have liked a bigger screen though

Developer

thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it!, Yeah some other people mentioned that too. I playtested it  in full screen and it was ok, for me . Did you play in full screen??

Submitted(+1)

I did, I guess it's just hard getting used to old looking graphics :D

The gameboy was my first gaming experience. Thank you for remembering me to this great days!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked the style, I wanted that travel back in time, to the time were cheats were fun and misterious and posted in magazines.

Wow! Very unique concept, and packaged in a very good looking gameboy. Great job! :)

Developer

I'm glad you liked it! :D  and Thanks for palying!!

feels nostalgic :D

The Game Boy screen could have been a little larger tho. It was a bit hard to indentify the objects on the screen sometimes

Developer

Hey tahnk for playing! You can go into full screen to see better!
