I love how the legs always land! Great game!
Now I know one more scientific fact: goats turn into balls in presence of trees. Interesting!
Really fun and cute game. I wish the goat was a little less floaty but overall super adorable!
A great concept and a fun little game. Love the puzzle designs especially when the press r for restart came up i thought "i dont need that i know exactly what i have to do" followed by me getting stuck and an "you got me" moment. Also love the way the goats body changes to match the terrain!
This was pretty interesting! I like the idea of losing control when you're a ball, but moving as the goat was a bit annoying (especially those annoying edges on some levels!)
Good job, though!
Very wacky idea! I originally expected something like Yoku's Island Express, but this was quite different.
I had some early problem with ledges (the goat's foot would always get stuck on one), but some practice made that work, and got me a fairly speedy goat as well. Quite tricky too. :)
Good level design teaching correctly the mechanics of the game. Maybe the goat movements are a little bit slow but overall, it controls greatly.
Great job !
Lovely game! Fun puzzles, great artstyle, interesting mechanics. I've been intrigued by the game the moment you posted progress on Discord and rightfuly so :D
Really solid entry, I like the idea of having control, only to lose it when you shoot at the tree. I really liked how the goat in goat form felt, how it actually had legs and wasnt just a solid sprite, really polished goat for a Jam game. Good stuff
Thanks, glad you liked it! I spend half my time on the goat itself
I liked the artstyle and the movement was really good (the goat's legs always landing was satisfying). Simple but not too easy :)
Amazing game! The level design was great and the way which the goat landed and the legs would react realistically was great too! And yes: I do realise I am talking about realism in a game where goats turn into bouncy balls... Loved the game! Overall, I really enjoyed playing!
Very funny premise! And fun game play as well! The ending was cute :) great job!
Goatball is the new football, nice job!
The goat feels too heavy for my liking, it took me 4 or 5 drags to move anywhere, otherwise very creative game! I love the idea!
Yeah, it's hard to balance physics based characters in such a short time. I am just happy it works at all :P
Glad you liked it!
I completely understand :) nice game
fun game, good concept! the goat feels heavy/clunky to control but overall very clever idea
Thanks! Yeah, a few people said it's too heavy. It's hard to balance such details in a short time. On the other hand - it fits the theme :P
I really like the proceduarl animation behaviour of the goat. It gives the game a lot of charme
Thanks, about half of the time was spent on the goat itself
Fun game!
The Audio sometimes chirps, but a nice and very fun game overall!
Edit: I take my music remark back. Chrome is not the right browser for browser games. Bigger rating for you my friend!
It was a bit finicky to control, but I guess you know that, since you're suggesting fullscreen mode. Fullscreen only helps a little when you got multiple screens though, and on the corner of the screen it was hard to charge up properly. Also toggling the full screen didn't work properly; had to set my browser to full screen before starting the game.
Overall it was a funny little game, with very repetitive music. It's also the first one I'm rating right now, so it's hard to compare it to other submissions at this point.
Unfortunately it's a browser thing. I should've just settled for the windows executable. The music is the only asset I didn't make myself. A few people noted it so next time maybe I'll add an option to mute it.
But I'm glad it's fun - that's what important :D
That was a ton of fun! I liked the ending a lot!
