This was a really cool idea, but I think it has a lot of potential to be executed better.  In particular, the way in which you allocate influences to different tasks can be quite slow, which slows down the gameplay.  I think it would be nice if instead of manually assigning a value to each task, you could drag and drop the different actions into the order you want the probabilities.  So that its much faster to swap out what actions you prefer.

Interesting concept, I don't get how you fire :3

Interesting concept! I like how you can allocate points not only to increase a chance of a particular action, but to decrease as well (when, for example, you would like to shoot, turning either way or doing nothing would be ok, but you absolutely don't want it to move into an enemy).

After I reached the flag in level 5, I couldn't do anything else, so I'm assuming it's the end of the game, right (there's 5 levels in total)?

Developer

Yes, we were running out of time and we didn't think people would keep interest for that far, so we didn't make an ending. Good to know that someone actually finished the whole thing anyway.

the concept is really cool! great art and it's really easy to understand!

This is a really cool concept, I liked the weighted random over the different commands. Well done!

Developer

Thank you all for all the engagement. I am quite surprised so many people played and liked the game, since I expected the mechanics to be a rather failed experiment. Sorry for all the bugs. The development was pretty rushed and there were a lot of bugs we didn't catch. I'll patch it after the jam, but I'm not planning on developing it further.

Ahhhh sorry, I tried to give this game a go but I kept running into bugs :\ I got one in which clicking "End Turn" didn't do anything regardless if I reset or spent all my influence points.  Which is too bad because the look and feel was pretty promising. Let me know if you plan on polishing the game a little more and I'd definitely be interested in checking it out in the future!

So original! I liked it!

What did I like?
- The mechanics of the game.
- The Asymmetric view. (It fits perfectly with the game)
- Game art. (Looks awesome)
What I didn't like?
- There is no collider on the walls, I think, because the player can go outside the game area.
- There is a bug on the windows version, I think. (The game won't be full -  screen, I think it is windowed, but I can't move the game window) (Browser version of the game works fine)
Suggestion:
- Add a main menu.

Great work! Keep making games, and never give up!

Cool concept! Turns are kind of slow and for some reason the "Fire" command didn't trigger even though it was the one that was selected. Lots of potential here, and the 3D models are impressive for such a short jam. Nice work!

Very nice visual and interesting game mechanic.

"The player character [ ... ]has a mind of it's own" Yes indeed.

I wish I had that much luck playing yatzee, got the same 3% move twice in a row.

I really like the visuals! Good job :D

Great idea but could do with some more polish to make the game a bit more enjoyable. Great work though!

If you have time I’d appreciate if you could check out my game as well!

It was fun playing your game, but it was a bit hard to grasp at first XD I like the 3d models. If you like this idea, keep working on it! Awesome job submitting a unique game to this jam and I hope you improved your game making skills. If you have time, please check out my game :D

I like the idea of the game. It looks great. Maybe make the levels at the start a bit easier. Overall great game :)

Certainly a unique concept but slowly grows in fustration. Could make for some really emergent play if there were more random elements! Nice work on the tank too, looks neat. I also quite like the UI.
Unfortunately I think I ran into a bug at the end of level 4 as the game just stopped...

Really cool concept!

Very original mechanic! After a while it gets tiring, theres not much reason to put anything in the boxes apart from 0's and 10's. Slow to play. Wish the RNG was used for something... more. Maybe more interesting but risky moves. Compound moves. Right now, just a turn-based game with extra steps. Very nice models, made during the jam.  "It's okay."
