Really good art and sound design and the main game mechanic is really good! Please keep working on it and add more levels!
Thank you for spreading positivity in the world, I appreciate it a lot. :)
Thanks for inspiring me to keep working. Have a pleasant day! :)
LOVE the art. Dissapointed it was over so quickly.
Thank you for sharing your opinion and spreading positivity! :)
The idea is fantastic, I was so frustrated when it was over so quickly... Great job nonetheless, and a great idea for a full game !
Thanks! Delighted to hear you were eager to see more of it. :)
I like the visuals, gave me some hollow knight vibes only with colors.
Game-play is as you mentioned in your comment to me a bit lacking, such as mine so who am I to complain :D, but seeing the game in it's current form is played just like a game I've seen on steam but never played, it becomes a bit unoriginal. but as stated above a added aging mechanic could definitely give some more options in terms of gameplay and level design, but I think it would need even more to stand out of the crowd.
For some reason however I had some kind of frame rate issue ?, not sure if that was intended or not, but I think my gtx 1070 should be able to handle this :D
Anyway, it's a good job given the time spent working on it, music & art was really great and was fitting the theme.
Thanks for an in-depth opinion! Making something that will stand out is certainly something I should focus on.
You're the first person who experienced lags in the game and I feel concerned now. I hope it happened because it's a browser version of the game, but I should totally investigate that. Do you remember if there were any special conditions? Maybe you had a ton of other tabs opened or maybe there were many corpses lying around?
Haha, I might have had substance painter, maya, zbrush, unity, marmoset and 30 -50 tabs open when trying it, tried it out now and it runs smooth ! =), Sorry for the scare ! :D
O-off, thanks for this relief! :)
If you are looking for more ideas for a post jam completion game, you could possibly have some enemies set up so they attack your dead bodies. In other words, you can set them up as decoys to get past them. Just a quick thought lol.
That is so clever, I haven't thought about it! I am not sure about the enemies, but I could definitely add more uses to corpses. Pressure plates, for example? Thank you for your suggestion! :)
This game is short but i had fun just resetting to get in inaccessible areas
Damn, now I am torn between two sides. I want to keep some exploits in the game, because too many people reported that they had fun reaching restricted areas. That's not what I really intended, though. :D
Awesome Idea :o
Love the graphics and art style! Good Job:)
Thank you, I am delighted to hear that!
You made a very good game. :) I think it's really original, good work on the presentation. Please keep creating games. :)
Thank you for this sweet comment! You made me smile, for which I am very grateful. Have a pleasant day! :)
such a nice game. cute, nice graphics and the music good to.
But it is over after a minute or so, please keep on working on this very nice project!
Thank you for kind words of inspiration and sponsoring my today's smile! :)
Such amazing art and I like the using the other dead bugs to hep you win! Would love to see a post-jam version with the aging mechanic too!
Gorgeous art! Got stuck a couple of times, so I wish I had a jump button.
Thanks! Not sure what you mean, because it's possible to jump in the game (Space). :)
Oh, didn't work for me for some reason. Please disregard my comment!
Glad the issue was solved. :)
Love this as a proof of concept for what has the potential to be a great mechanic with a nice aesthetic on top.
Thank you for believing in this concept. I hope to get it to the finish line one day. :)
love the idea, also has a hollow knight aesthetic which won me over lol. Music's great! keep working on it!
Thank you! When I had a theme of "bugs" in my mind, Hollow Knight was definitely the first thing I could draw inspiration from. :)
Music is really grat and the art is good too, it's a shame there are no more levels or maybe a really big one with checkpoinst, great work.
Thanks! Yeah, there definitely isn't enough content in the game, even for a game jam standards.
Piled up dead bodies until I was able to escape into the abyss behind the house. Sometimes as a bug, you gotta make your own fun, with the corpses of the past.
I ended up doing exactly the same thing haha
Haha, you made my day! Indeed, I hoped players could find fun in at least exploiting the features. In the "real game" the corpses were supposed to be limited to 3 (each time you die, a corpse ages and eventually turns to dust).
Absolutely love the art and the music! The gameplay for what's there is nice but I do wish there was more
Thanks. More stuff is coming, hopefully! :)
Beautiful art and music, would love to see the mechanic explored in more depth!
Thanks! I hope I'll be able to continue working on it.
Very cool art style. Looking forward to more.
Thank you!
Awesome art style.
Thanks! :)
