Very original and nice take on the theme for sure! I like the vibe of the game, it feel a bit weird bit in a good way!
I took me a while to figure out how the different forces interact with the objects, maybe some intermediate levels would havebeen nice to introduce better with tht mechanics. Also I completely forgot you could change the forces during the level (I saw a comment below mentionning that otherwise I don't know if I would have figured it out).
Good job!
Thanks! Yeah, now I understand I had to let the player know it is possible :)
Very nice concept. The game is quite fun to play. The biggest issue for me is I find it difficult to understand how exactly the force influence the balls. Maybe finding a visual way to show the forces would help. Overall an awesome experience! Great job and congrats :)
Thank you for the review! Yeah, good idea with some indicators of the forces, I did not think of that!
Fun and original concept! Took me some time to complete the last levels - they were pretty difficult :)
Unique and cool concept, didn't see anyone did this yet, the bouncy one is super hard I can't quite figure out that one, very fun game!!
Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, it can get really tricky in some of the levels :)
Really cool mechanic!
Some of the levels were tough (The bouncy one, I think it was 6 was super hard for me)
Maybe a toggle instead of a slider would be cool, but I don't really know.
Well done!
Thanks! Yeah, it could be a good idea to try out to just give each force like 3 levels of power, and then you could switch between them. Maybe I will implement it post-jam!
I really enjoyed the mechanics of this game! It was also very visually pleasing, and relaxing to play around with. The controls were a bit hard to navigate at times though.
Thanks!
Wow, such interesting physics mechanics! Buoyancy and Gravity are my favorite forces to keep fiddling with. I really like the way you've gone into developing this theme, as two entities that are attracted to each other so they could finally join in unison! Just so you know, here in Brazil the Valentine's day is on June 12th, so the fact that you've done sort of a "romantic" themed game in that period turned out to be a very peculiar coincidence! :D Also, great job for a solo developer!
I know the painHah, nice coincidence! Thank you very much for playing and kind words!
This is super awesome! The controls are a bit awkward. I'd love if you could use the mouse. I tried and although it moves them it doesn't actually set them. Regardless, this is one of my favorites of the jam. Sidenote, I accidentally cheesed level 8. I was trying to go through the water and instead launched it over the puzzle.
I'm very glad to hear that and congratulations for going so far in the game! You don't know home much happy I am that you discovered a secret way of beating 8th level! After I found it myself it was my go-to way of beating it ever since :)
It's a fun secret ^^
Interesting concept! I would have liked for the forces to be independently controlled with different inputs. It's sometimes hard to control both at the same time by swapping back and forth quickly.
I like the idea of different physics concepts though!
Hmm, you're right, it takes a bit of time to get used to the controls :) But I could not figure out a way to change it without making it too complex. Thanks for playing!
I was thrown off with the switching forces thing, although that's mostly my fault. I love the concept and it was a clever puzzle game.
Thanks for playing!
it's very nice concept and the visuals are beautiful! i totally like the backgrounds!
it was a bit tricky with adjusting the gravity during the movement, but it is super cool idea!
Thank you! I know nothing about visuals so I'm really happy you liked them!
Great concept and some engaging levels. Some clearer tutorials would be nice. It took me ages to realise I could adjust the sliders after I start and i never really knew if i was turning things up or down. But despite this a really solid showing!
Thank you so much! Yeah, I could definitely make it more apparent that you can influence the forces during the gameplay, that is where I wanted the fun to be :)
I liked it but couldn't get past the third level.
Thanks for playing! Yeah, it might be quite challenging. For 3rd level (and all level past it) you need to modify forces during the play of the level itself :)
I think that the UI, such as your "physic sliders" could take up more screen real estate because they are your core mechanic but right now they are very small and is tucked in the top-left corner. The game is very hard but it is very original!
Good suggestion, I had a hard time placing it around while still having enough space for the level... I'm definitely far from UX expert :D Thanks for playing!
