How does your game fit the theme?
Uh i guess you could argue the narrator helps out the player thus there is a mental connection

The narration was funny, but I din't like the fact there was no checkpoint after death. The intro was so long before you get into the shooting part I didn't want to have to go through it all multiple times. Nice job.
This game is very funny, sort of Stanley Parable-esque. The thing that is unfortunate is if you are trying to play the game while hearing impaired or without audio. I know subtitles are hard in a game jam though
Yeah sorry, I thought of adding subtitles but I was running out of time.
Really funny game, enjoyed the narration and simple design. Nice job.
Thank you!
Love the story telling part! Bad that there was no checkpoint, kind of annoying to start over, especially when you don't know how to reload on the first run 😅
Thank you
Cool concept, but it's bad for these type of games if there's a game over and you have to restart the entire thing.
Yeah i wanted to add a checkpoint system. Thanks for playing!
this was really funny, and despite having relatively simple gameplay to it, it really pulled me in. i'd be really interested to see what you could make with more than 48 hours. now i just need to go back and do it again to see the other ending
Thanks for trying my game!
cool and funny game, not too many jam games have voice lines so it's nice to see it (0:
Thank you.
I liked your dry humor. I was having fun with the hmmm...Stanley Parable-esc kind of game where it's very self aware? Even though it really didn't fit the theme it was a fun and charming play.
I did not finish it though. When I chose a door, I decided to go back to try the other one, and when the arena spawned I was outside stuck in a wall, and I didn't want to go through the entire narration over again.
Yeah sorry most people had that bug, Because of jam rules I'm not allowed to fix any bugs until rating is over. Thank you for playing!
Wow! Best game ever. Please don't try to find me! I said BEST. But wow, the game is really unique and fun. Gameplay can improve but sound design was THE BEST.
Thank you!
I was deeply edumacated, and got a job teaching how to be cool @ hardvard, thanks punk
check out the one i made or get expelled poopbutt

Surprisingly charming and funny game. Gameplay itself wasn't particularly fun, with a series of long corridors and lots of waiting, but for a <10-minute experience it was pretty good!
Thank you, when I ever release a full game i will have a checkpoint system. Either way thanks for playing!
Very unique and funny! I like the idea of the game being made as I play it with the developer talking to me in "real time". Even thought the dialogue was funny, I wish I wasn't waiting around not doing anything for a bit. With my experience, I died a little bit after getting the gun (I forgot I could reload) and I wanted to restart to where I was, but instead it restarted me at the beginning. Because of the amount of waiting you do at the beginning, it kind of killed the momentum for me. Otherwise that, I liked what I experienced and if the developer makes a full version, that would be pretty cool!
Yeah sorry, A lot of people commented it was boring. IF and when I make it it will have a checkpoint system. Anyways thank you.
The controls were unweildly and most of the game was waiting for corridors to open up.
Sorry you disliked my game, There are plenty of other games you can try
Aren't you going to find him?
?
Brilliant! One of the most unique games I've played so far. I enjoyed the dry humor in the narration. Would definitely be interested in playing a full version of this.
Thank you, I wanted to make a full version of the game but then i was like wait, GMTK game jam is coming up. Why don't I do it then? and I regret it because if I did it in my own time I could have had a better game in the end. I do plan on making a full one soon, Either way thank you.
Wow, I cannot describe the fun I had with this game. Very Very well done Voice over. Also , the script writing was fantastic! Really felt you were talking to me real time. There was a bug in my play when I chose the BRom ending where it got stuck and didn't remove the picture to get back to the game. All in all super fun!!
The idea of the game was to make it feel like I was talking to the player. Then I built on it from there, I'm hoping on releasing a full game soon around this idea. Also can you clarify what the "BRom" ending is, Thank you for the compliments.
Oh sorry broom closet. Anyways thank you
Welp, I tried to not like this game. However I failed miserably. The game is very charming.
Hah, Thanks.
I loved it ! I have to admit I was expecting a shittier game
I ran into an issue just before the second zombie wave though, I ws going back in the level when a wall spawned on me and prevented me from moving :/
Great concept anyway
Yeah sorry about that, was not able to fix all the bugs. I am planning on releasing a full game in the future with better narration, More mechanics, More rooms and endings etc. Either way thank you.
I played this "game" last night and can't stop thinking about it. Game is probably the wrong word, more like "immersive experience". In all honesty, the personality shines through and with a bit more experience, I could see you making something very special.
Thank you, I actually planned for an immersive sim sort of like this to happen but when I realized the GMTK game jam was about to start, I decided to make it and i sort of regret it because I could have done it in my own time and made a much better finished product with more Features/Game mechanics and a better storyline and voice acting. Either way thank you.
Nothing's stopping you from making another one! :D
Fair enough :)
