the controls are holding me back from really enjoying this game, they just seemed to janky, however I can see where you were going and it is a very cool idea to add extra parts to your vehicle, so good job
Took me a while to beat it. Very chaotic!
Thanks for playing!
Nice colorful artstyle and chaotic gameplay! I don’t actually consider hard controls as a shortcoming in this case, it’s kind of fun to try to navigate around the level despite being bombarded with trash! Though lags are noticeable later in the game, they don’t prevent you from finishing the game.
Thanks for playing our game! Glad you enjoyed it!
I really tried to understand what i was suppose to do, but i really don't get it :/
I don't really get this one
The idea of getting destroyed and adding new things to your vehicle is very original and creative. The controls also does getting harder. The only problem i had was to find, which the goal was or where the "shutoff" button was.
Thanks for checking out our game! The button placement (and everything else) is random. To help find it we made the floor colors rainbow out so purple rooms might contain the button, but this isn't explained very well. Appreciate the feedback!
I love the idea of additional parts being glued onto your ship (so much so in fact, that it was also the idea behind my own game!), but here it just feels really impossible to control
Thanks for the feedback! We would have liked to better tune the additional thrusters but didn't have enough time.
I can see the potential, but I feel like there’s no need to struggle that much in the first minutes of the game 😂
I really like the concept, but I feel like the execution is lacking in areas that it doesn't need to. Simple changes like a wider field of view would make a big difference, and the lens distortion makes the game a little hard to look at for no reason whatsoever.
It's fun in the starting minute or so but then it gets too much out of control. Great concept. Needs more work.
Thanks for the feedback!
Really cool concept, it is however really laggy or frustrating when you spend more than 2-3 minutes in the game, maybe clear elements or reuse them to reduce the load could be helpful.
Thanks for the feedback! In our testing the lag didn't seem that bad, so we kept all the stuff in. With more time that is something that probably would have changed.
You're welcome :)
I don't think this is a main problem for a quick game of around 1 or 2 minutes, but if you get stuck or if you are lost (I get stuck in a corner for like 20-30 seconds and a lot of engines were placed all around my ship, which make it pretty frustrating to move around) the framerate can drop.
Good concept!
Pretty nice! One of my favorite games so far!
Awesome! Thanks for playing!
Great work on this, i can't begin to imagine how long you spent on this
Great concept for the theme. It ramps up a little too quickly but good otherwise.
Appreciate the feedback!
Concept is cool and original but it's a little hard to control and see. Would love if you rated my game! https://outercloudstudio.itch.io/beat-link
The game's kinda of laggy so it's hard to play
The idea is interesting, I liked it, but there are some problems that would be better fixed. The drone is too difficult to control. Also, because of the huge number of objects, the game starts to lag. Otherwise, it's cool! Way to go!
Thanks! Great feedback!
I liked the concept of your game. The controls were a bit clunky and you ended up just spinning a lot, which made me feel a bit dizzy. Also, i reached the shut off button, but then didn't know how to disable it. However, i know by myself, how short 48 hours are, escpecially for a 3D game, so you still did a great job whatsoever.
Thanks for the feedback! With all the chaos going on, we were hoping players would just try smashing into the button but we never really made that clear. Thanks for playing!
There's a bit too much going on the screen so it's hard to pay attention, but the idea is like nothing in this jam.
Appreciate the feedback, thanks for checking out our game!
