Let's go slimes! I liked how you used both joining and splitting. I struggled with the jump/physics, but like, hey, 48 hours is not a lot of time to get those things perfect! Great job!

Easy, I see slimes and I approve :)
I've seen a few games with split mechanics so far but I think yours is probably the best so far. The joining and splitting was fairly satisfying, and the wobbling around was fun interact with.
The jump might need some refinement, I felt it was a bit unpredictable and hard to get right
This is a cool game, and really fun bouncy/slime animation. Nice work!! I suggest you add some extra gravity for when the slime is falling, but in any case this was still a fun mechanic!
Nice game! The slimes were a bit sporadic and hard to control at times but it was fun
It's pretty great! I really like how the splitting and remerging feels. Sometimes slimes would get stuck on walls, and it's a bit hard to control them at times, but overall it's a great experience.
Nice and finished! I liked the physics and bounciness.
Altho sometimes it felt more like a glitch rather then intended game mechanic, when I was needing to jump up from my other slimes and it was launching me too high.
Well done fellow slime enjoyer.
nice game! tutorial levels are nicely done and the difficulty is increasing with good speed. only thing is that jumping works a bit strange sometimes - but maybe that was your intention
Interesting to see the same idea as mine! :) I liked the level design & art, but the controls felt unresponsive and at times just random - jumping worked about half the time, and moving left/right was even a bit painful, especially in the last levels. Anyways, fun game, good job!
The graphics are pretty nice and I like how the slimes behave like actual bouncy objects. I'm pretty impressed you got the bounce physics working, those usually aren't easy to code. The puzzles themselves are very creative and really make the most out of the split ability.
Controls are pretty finnicky to use, especially when moving horizontally. I noticed that when you press the left or right keys you do a little jump, which I would prefer without. I also would've liked to see more levels. There's a lot of potential in managing your slime balls with your movement, so it would've been nice to see more levels that take advantage of that.
Great game overall, I enjoyed playing through it!
Cool idea and execution. How did you do the slimey physics? I also liked that there was not a lot of tutorial/explanation because the level design did all the explaining. Kudos!
I did the physics using animation bones (and a sprite skin to deform the sprite). I connected the animation bones with springs (each bone is connected to the two adjacent one + another bone in the middle). If you search "unity 2d softbody physics " you should find some tutorials on it. I found the method a bit finnicky, but it's not like I was going to research and implement softbody physics properly in 2 days.
Puzzles are currently bit too short and straightforward (finished in around 2 mins), but really good concept and execution. I see a lot of potential in it, so hopefully it gets expanded after the jam.
