Cool game! I really like the cartoony art work and the spooky music! Good work!
Really reminds me of the smartphone evolution games where you also combine creatures and stuff. I think maybe making it more similar to them (as in having the bosses produce money with which you can buy the skulls) would have made the game a bit more interesting gameplay wise. Anyway this is an enjoyable little 5 minute experience

Presentation is immaculate and the music and sound effects work extremely well! Felt immediately accessible and intuitive on how to play.
This is nice, I like having a game with a little more of a chill pace after playing all these hard platformers lol. I was a little confused I couldn't breed together the two dog-like bosses, I wasn't sure if that was the highest threshold or not. The artwork is very cute though, I liked the presentation of this game a lot!
Thank you so much for your feedback. Yeah, you CAN join the two doglike ones, it's just that the hitboxes were all one-size so the larger monsters are harder to get a grip of. We will fix that for a later version. :)

I love the art and the abstract idle game concept. This game has the highest "joining things together" per minute of the whole jam!
I did it! I created the ULTIMATE END BOSS! I initially thought it was bit simplistic, but damn did I just always want to see the next creature up. Surprisingly addictive once you get going and a lot of fun!

Love the idea and implementation. Think I got the ultimate boss? Two Deer ones at least. Can see you must've had plenty of stuff you wanted to implement if we had more time and I think many would be keen to see it after the jam!
After the two deer ones there are three more levels before the ultimate boss but we miiiight have had a tad bit too small of a hitbox on the bigger bosses so they're much harder to merge. The hitbox on the deer is on it's neck... But hey, the deer is pretty strong too!
Damn it! I almost got a third deer by the time I gave up! Might try see what being I can manage then...

I like the art ! It's a bit stale gameplay but it has its charm.
Yeah, there where many ideas we had to stall with the limit of time for the jam. But we will continue develop different progression and achievement that we think will add more juicy to the puzzle.

Pretty fun merge game. Very relaxing and zen.
Fun little 2048 style combination game but without the puzzle elements and time pressure instead. I was able to get to a pair of the large deer like ones but they wouldn't combine, perhaps they were the ULTIMATE END BOSS but I wasnt sure.
Thanks m8! Just one more... or was this the ultimate end boss?! That was the feeling we where aiming for. Yeah, the hitboxes wasn't balanced on the larger sprites. So much we wanted to add, but so little time.
pretty neat combine game, the only issue I have with it was the slow spawn rate and the left-most skulls being annoying to see. Great art and the music loop did it's job well.

Spawn rate could be faster or maybe after a time threshold you get higher base spawns like already a single combined one to save the first step.
Another thing is that there are some spawns on the left of the screen which are very hard to see.

I really love this art style, it's really charming and works with what you've made. It gets really exciting to see what the next evolution looks like and it kept me going a lot.
Though, it does get a tad bit repetitive near the end but I do really love seeing what new monster will appear. If you want to expand on this, multiple first generation monsters that have different evolution paths would be really cool.

It was pretty fun but gets slow at the end.
Yeah agree, the hard part is to keep it motivated at the end. We have some ideas to make it harder and more fun. We are going to breed it well! :-D
