I love the suction cup sounds, its a nice touch
And the timers on the hands make for gameplay that stays interesting because you cant really take a break. Suspense increases the higher you go!

Birds are terrible. Reminds me of GIRP by Bennett Foddy, where if you took to long near the top the bird that was annoying you the whole game would win instead.
I've never played GIRP myself but have seen it (I think in a previous GMTK video actually...) - it was definitely part of the inspiration for this! I didn't know there was a bird in it though!
I thought the idea of having an AI bird messing with your character is a fun unique twist to these sorts of climbing games that innovates from the idea. Unfortunately, on Keyboard I can't seem to get more than a couple metres off the ground? Bird just flies downwards as soon as it can and overpowers me. Like the music though!

Yeah it seems a couple people have had trouble getting off the ground to start with - try holding up on both hands (W/I) and alternating grab, that seemed to help the other people I spoke to :)
I like the art style, but I can't figure out how to actually climb and play the game
Hi, the controls are in the game description - unfortunately I didn't have time to put them in the game anywhere. I recommend using a controller if you have one, but there are also keyboard controls.
