Very fun game! I loved the combat loop and gaining new abilities! I wish that i could use the giant heart to steam roll enemies when I threw it but that's the only critique I have. excellent job!
This is one of the more cathartic games I've played. I just kept playing and playing. I do feel the character is a bit slippery with his movement and I don't know what the power with the rotated arrow does. Some battle music could help keep interest and of course a secondary objective or at least a counter to show the number of souls captured. People love number counters.

So enjoyable. I really enjoyed the player fantasy and general feel of the game, especially when the heart was vocally demanding more and more sacrifices. Very nice game, ideal scope for the jam as well.
Really good! Maybe add some music in? Also if you need to make floor tiles quickly for a game jam I recommend a program called tilesetter.
That so good game. I love art, sound and even the name is perfect. I had great time playing
Really fun game, so satisfying to play it. I think it's a bit easy and needs work on showing the skills cooldown and a different sprite for the mouse (since I lost it most of the time). And about holding the heart, I didn't had a reason to throw it while playing it, I didn't get that.
Great game in every way
Bullet hell without bullets, stab stab stab and let's go :) Very well made, love it, love the atmosphere. I'd suggest to add like a fading effect to the blood pool on the floor, or add like a white outline to the heart, just to make it stand out a bit more, other than that I had tons of fun. The voice acting, really nice and contributes perfectly to the look and feel. Well done !

The sword feels a bit like goes through some enemies without touching them. Other than that great work !

Damn you WuzzyWizard!! Playing games where you're the villain is one of my biggest soft spots. How dare you make a game that brought a smile to my face and invoked from me an evil chuckle. Amazing art, fun gameplay and very fitting.

Great work Wuzzy, action packed and very juicy. The sound effects cracked me up too. The only thing I would suggest is I sometimes lost track of my mouse cursor when the screen got busy, maybe adding a bright cross-hair (or similar) in game so its easier to track? Awesome job overall!

I might be misunderstanding how the game works, but it seemed easiest to not throw the heart until the end of a wave because that way you can kill everyone without taking much (if any?) damage. And then at the end of the wave you can collect all the souls at once. I would guess that you intended for the player to constantly being throwing out the heart. Maybe if you want that to be the case you could make the souls despawn after a short time (if they don't already).
tobe honest, with a few more upgrades this would be a game I would buy on steamfor 10$
i love this style of graphics... i even crash the game when it's suppost to stop the game until i choice an upgrade.. but i don't have more upgrades xD
