the laser's bounce is somewhat chaotic (mainly because there's often walls obstructing the linked points) but honestly i think that adds to the fun

This game is sick! I never thought such a simple mechanic could be so much fun to play around with. Good job implementing it, I hope you keep working on it!

Its fun. I find it somewhat hard to predict how the linking attack works though it is quite satisfying. Swell job !

That idea works really well! Good job! I liked the tutorial!

Very fun idea! The enemies just barely shifting over when you shoot at them is rather annoying though. Also when they were in a link the laser would be crazy and unpredictable? It was a little frustrating as I would often run into my laser since it wouldn't be where I had shot it.

Regardless, love your game. Great job!

Such a clever concept! Very well done, quite addictive, too.

This game is deceptively fun. When I first opened it, I played it for a bit, thought 'this is pretty fun' and closed it and was about to write a review. One of the things that I was going to mention was 'you should try to make big combos a little bit easier to achieve'. But then I had a realization on how to make big combos without changing anything, so I opened the game back up again, tried it out, and it worked. The satisfaction of hearing dozens of enemies die at the same time in a 50k point combo was incredibly satisfying. And what's more, even after I figured out how to consistently get crazy combos, the game still wasn't too easy. The only thing I can really suggest is to maybe add some more enemy types (shooters, etc.), and a bit more juice to a big combo. Screen shake, maybe a special sound for a big combo, maybe a combo meter that tells you how many enemies you killed with a single laser pulse... Dig even deeper into that ultra-satisfying feeling of a crazy combo.

Wow, thank you for the detailed commentary on the gameplay. Some of your ideas will certainly make the cut into our TO-DO list :).

Thanks again for playing!

This is loads of fun! Such a simple idea, yet very well executed. And quite tough too, though admittedly I played with a track pad on a mac – so not the best hardware to be precise. Thanks for doing a build for that platform by the way!

The different orientations, sizes and positions of the walls makes for interesting choices in the placement of lasers, as well as forcing you to always be mindful of your surroundings so you don't get stuck!

The music is fun and fits the pace and tone of the game (which I would describe as "Aaaaaahhhhh! Aha got you! Aaaaahhhhh")

Well done!

Thanks a lot, lovely feedback! We think this game can become quite addictive so we really want to polish it. Glad you liked it :)

PS: I tried it with my track pad now…bad idea :P

I like having combat that makes you think about each shot. Took me a while to get used to laser reflections as well, but really powerful after that (although still usually the death of me).

Fantastic concept, carefully placing bullets in the right places and springing the laser trap at the right time feels soo good, great job!
