How dareeee you make me do math! In all seriousness, this was super fun. I love card games and this hit the spot. Overall great game, took some time to get used to but I ended up enjoying it a lot. Now the perfectionist in me wants to go in and redo it all for a perfect score.... if you end up pushing this further I would love to see it with some audio sound effects or office ambience for that tactile feel. Great work!
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback! We actually do have some office ambience and elevator jazz music on it, but because it's HTML, the browser makes the user turn it on manually. Check out the top left for a button to turn it on. I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

Rad idea! A shame some of the more tactical cards got cut before submission. Did you have some sort of framework for the HTML+JS, or was it mostly just... React?
Thanks! We had some really cool card ideas, plus cards originally had suits and some card abilities interacted with those suits. Just not enough time to reach the depth we'd like! And for the framework we used... *drumroll of shame*... jQuery (it's helpful but outdated for sure).
simple gameplay but very polished! So cute how the little Id card changes when u play the cards!

Visuals are great, love the minimalistic vibes (and how the cards composite together on the ID!), the card selection seems very well balanced, and it's pretty quick and intuitive how to play!

What a cool game! Love the simplicity of the art. Took me a hot second to figure out if there was sound.
Thank you! Because the game was built in HTML and JavaScript, browsers automatically pause sound and it must be turned on manually by a user (which is a bummer because we're really proud of our music this year). I'm so glad you enjoyed the game!

Very nice and polished game with good music (for some reason turned off by default?). I would like to see it on mobile phone to play for a few minutes before going to bed :)

Awesome game, feels really polished! Loved the little details like the random funny witness names and the profile picture that changes when you use cards. Would love to see the idea expanded upon with more cards, effects, etc. Great job!

Wow the whole presentation of this game is fantastic; the art style, the itch page, the accompanying pdf. All of that attention to detail really adds to experience. The game itself is a really cool concept and I can definitely see a whole world here of mechanics. I hear what you say about wanting to add more traditional deck building mechanics but for what you've submitted within the time frame is a really great Jam game. Awesome work.
