For some reason the sound wasn't working for me? But other than that this seems like a very interesting idea. The roguelike aspects were interesting.
The concept is a little too simple and the gameplay as well. If there was more to creating a new disguise, the game could be more fun.
Super creative use of theme. The game is really fun. Gives me Papers Please vibes. The art is simple but very well done and the music and sound effects fit perfectly. Incredibly well scoped for a jam. You should be very proud. Fantastic job!
The game was so fun, I loved finding ways to making the numbers fit, great job, great game
Thank you :D
Cool Approach to the theme!
Thank you!
I really love how much thought and care clearly went into the realization of this project. It was fun to try it out.
Thank you :) It was fun to work on!
A really cool idea and concept - feels great to play as a card game too!
Very clever and considered interpreteation of the main theme.
The spritework was very well done.
Good job!
thank you 😄
I'm sorry I tried to play but I can't get past the first witness :( I think my screen is too small because I only see the cards and not what is shown below in the explanatory images (including the "next" button). The idea seems interesting though and the simple art and music make the game quite "chill".
So sorry you struggled! Try pressing Ctrl+ minus ( - ) to zoom out and you will see something like this!
Thanks it worked ! So I can confirm that the game is "chill", it is a casual deck-building like game, I really liked it. Although all the cards are discarded at the end of one turn, which was not very intuitive. Maybe the player could keep the unused cards, and the game could provide some information about how many cards are left in the deck or something like that to add more depth. The main downside though is that the game is way too easy, I stopped paying when my reputation crashed into the right side of my screen, there does not seem to be any win condition and the difficulty does not seem to increase so the game never stopped. Two solution to that problem : the game could have a win condition or the difficulty could increase dramatically over time (and the goal would be to have protected as many witness as you can).
Simple straight forward game :D
Thank you for the review :)
Fun game! I'm such a bad witness protector, no wonder my people are beying robbed in the middle of day. Great graphics, but you should upgrade that poor old computer :)
It's a government office. They only work on Windows 95 ;) Glad you enjoyed the game!
This game was fun, and the card system was a pleasant surprise. I did poorly at first, because I was overshooting the goal; this was due to me being dumb, not unclear instructions!
I would've liked if you could spend unused points from your turns on the upgrades after each level, this would incentivize more cleverly playing card combos instead of just going off the basic numbers.
Overall, nice game!
ooooh I love that idea! It could encourage players to use less cards and then spend those points later on to upgrade card, buy new ones, or repair their reputation. Excellent suggestion!
Fun concept, would love to see it expanded. Good jam game for sure :)
thank you! I'm looking into making it mobile friendly and expanding the functionality!
Awesome game! I really like the art design and mechanics. Very clean and easy to understand what to do. I enjoyed it a lot :)
thank you! So glad you enjoyed it 😄
