I love this! I tried twice but both times they broke through on my last egg :(
An absolute blast, the controls are so nice and everything really ramps up towards the end, very anxiety inducing!

How does your game fit the theme?
You take the role of an unstoppable worm, defending your nest from mining machines. It borrows from what a reverse mining game might be like

Really good game with great presentation, but not sure if it fits the theme? idk
Very fun game, i can tell you putted a lot of work in this game! Visuals are amazing!
The sense of progression is fantastic. The permanence of the enemy's approach, the narrowing of the area you can move in, and the acquisition of allies keep every moment more anxiety-inducing and exciting than the last.
My goodness you had my heart beating 😭 Literally they were busting down the walls of the nest as my last egg hatched. I really enjoyed the concept of being the bloody horrible worms like those ones in Terraria! The gameplay was intense and hard. And I loved the variation in the enemies, I actually started to have to choose which ones to go after based on what I knew they would be doing to attack! Only suggestion would be to add some sfx to the bots and explosions to make everything feel a bit more hectic. It felt a bit flat at times because there was no audio response to my actions. But overall, this is a really well made game and I 100% enjoyed it and am still feeling anxious about all my lil worm babies :)
Ahahaha thanks! I basically tripled the difficulty in the last hour to make sure the ending was tense. I knew that the sound was weak, I decided to aim for a more minimalist soundscape since I was worried about it getting cluttered once so much stuff started exploding at the same time. I think I was wrong though, the music track doesn't carry enough. Even with the experience as a hole being pretty minimal, the chaotic audio probably would've helped fill the space!
I love this game! Every important aspect was considered and it had a lot of juiciness.
Whoah! The aesthetics of your game are UNREAL, well done on that part! An enjoyable and fun lil' game, crazy what you managed to do in just 48 hours 😮
Great aesthetic on this game! I think it's maybe a tad on the dark side, but makes sense for a wormy boy in the dirt.
Also you definitely can get partial credit on the audio since you did make it yourself ;)
Game looks and feels great! Fairly simple gameplay looks but it is addicting!
So good! 5/5 would spend another hour on it! I'm amazed by the amount of polish this game has, the design has that retro vibe with an efficient color palette, the mechanic is straightforward but challenging and super addictive, I can't praise this game enough!
Few tweaks: the music is a bit repetitive but that's okay, I'm hunting diggers, the frenzy mechanic is not explained but I figured it out: it's slow mo when you right click, it'd be cool to have a shorter time between upgrades or have a visual of what triggers them.
Also I can't imagine how you did that mixed physics between ground control and gravity, really quite an amazing game!
Seems very polished and had a good feel to the controls
