Nice! I really enjoyed it due to its interesting concept. Well Done!
Coronavirus: the game
Had a lot of fun with this one and was able to survive for a quite a while, but its hard being a virus! Managing both the host health and your own potency gets pretty interesting because one is always decreasing while the other is increasing! If you make another release, it would be really cool to see different hosts with different effects! Great work!
The concept is really interesting. The game was really cool!
Honestly a very intriguing concept and well executed gameplay; the sound effect detail when someone dies is mildly haunting, and I liked the details of health being visible from the shift in skin color; one thing I had problems w/ was when there is a clump of skulls, it just a block of death which can't be passed w/o losing; two things I would've like to have is an indicator that you've already infected someone (without having to hover over them to check), and in general more UI (like being able to replay w/o refreshing, etc.)
Overall you did a good job and I had fun
Fun game, I like how you tied in the theme in a somewhat meta way. All of the examples and most of things people would think of are in-game reversals, but you’ve reversed something in real life and made it a game. Great job!
I'm really impressed on how you implemented a virus mechanic. All the variables work towards this balancing game of wanting to get potency back but not too much, so that people keep walking and you can keep spreading. Feedback loops making things work!
The only thing I'd tweak right now is how punishing death can be, when sometimes there is not much input of the player in that (sometimes people just died).
The game was really great but the sinister background music really brought the spook to the game. Had me hooked for quite a while. Nice game!
What a unique concept! Well done :D
Cool little balancing act between trying to grow the virus' potency and keep infected people alive!
I couldn't reach the hospital though i got quite far until my last host died, would love to see this idea expanded upon, maybe with some kind of other perks to give your virus (like infection range, maybe modifiers transmitted to infected humans...), but for now, good work!
This is really fun trying to balance all your numbers and survive. The only problem is that no matter how hard I tried, I could never get even close to the hospital. I would've loved to see it, but it was just too hard for me. Still really fun though. Great Job!
Nice idea ! It was a bit hard to understand at first, but it's an interesting concept that was nicely done, congratulation :D
very unique! i love how complex the whole health and potency system is! the art look pretty nice, too. Well done!
It is, I had so many parameters to balance I got overwhelmed. It can be improved some more I think.
I found the gameplay unique, got me into the "just one more try" vibe, trying to find the right balance in the host for speed, health and your potency is fun, but just couldn't get to the hospital, haha. Good job :)
Unique and interesting gameplay loop, it would be amazing to see more people "types" with different effects in future versions. Great job!
I like your idea and the art, we both have a virus theme, only mine is a computer virus, incredible!💚
Lovley pixel art and nice concept and nice choice of sound. Good job!
Really cool concept, there's so much depth to your game as well, I love it!
Reminded me of Plague inc. Pretty interesting game.
