Out of many "you're the dungeon boss" games, this has some nice and unique ideas! I like how the goal is still for the hero to go on, and the DM needs to self-sabotage (much like in tabletop RPGs).

I think the game could improve by introducing more interactions between the monsters, and maybe forcing the player to interact more with environmental hazards. Maybe a treasure of some kind if you lure the hero to a dangerous path, so we'll need to balance our options.

Overall, really liked it!

Developer(+1)

Thx for your feedback, really appreciated! We will surely introduce A LOT of new cards to play with, and some hazards too! For the treasure chest we have a plan, you will see...thx again!

This was a really well made game, that I'm glad I was able to play!
The core mechanics are really fun, and the game did a great job at easing the player into it. I could definitely see myself playing a "full" version of this game.

My only criticisms would be that I wished placing enemies was handled a bit differently (it felt wonky), and I wish that Coins were actually collected, and that the Hero used them in some way over time.

Developer(+1)

Thx a lot for your feedback! The enemy placement will be fixed in the next build! The use of the coin for something else is a cool idea, we will found a way to use it (maybe a shop...). Thx again!

I may have played the entire game trying to kill the hero without realizing I was supposed to be trying to make it so they could survive haha…

Ignore my resolution (I’m on ultrawide)

Your trailer definitely convinced me to play! and it was actually quite fun :] Buff Slime Bois are an artistic masterpiece for sure.

I love the concept, even more knowing now that you are supposed to be trying to make the dungeon easy for the player, creative & simple concept with great execution, well done!

Only thing I can think of for improvements at the moment is to add more buff slimes.

Developer(+2)

Thx for the feedback! The concept artist will be super happy to have another fan of his chad-slime-boy^^

Developer(+1)

I think honestly if i had to decide to play the game either in classic 16:9 or wide, i'd 100% pick the wide option to make BIG BOB (the buff slime) even buffer, so amazing choice of resolution indeed.

Jokes aside, i'm absolutely glad you enjoyed our game! And i will indeed add more buff slimes.

Really love the game! Super simple idea, but well executed and I genuinely enjoyed the gameplay and strategy of it all! I, like others on here, could totally see this as a full game

Developer

Really thx for your feedback!!!

Pretty fun but on floor five after placing all of the cards nothing happens (I think I somehow put the potion out of bounds)

Developer

Yep sorry, there's a bug with cards...if you place them too near the border it may disappear! Try again avoding border placement!

This is a great idea and executed very well.  It's fun already, but I could see this easily being turned into a full game, there is definitely even more cool things you can do with the idea.  The tooltips help so much in helping the player learn as they go.  Awesome stuff.

Developer(+1)

Thx a lot! You know how to motivate someone to continue his game^^

15 stars game imo! Got to 11 floors.

Good concept and execution, only problem was the bug with placing cards.

Developer

Thx a lot for your feedback! We will fix that ASAP.

Extremely fun game, I especially liked using the bunny with the goblin to deal massive damage, haha.

There’s a lot of strategy to this, especially with the different items. The coin was very useful as a way to force the hero to go to a specific place, picking up a sword on the way. The animations were crazy good, super energetic and bouncy!

Sadly, my run ended early because I appear to have somehow placed a card off-screen. I was trying to place it at the bottom left corner. The round wouldn’t start and I couldn’t reset the cards

Still, I had a lot of fun with this game!

Developer

Thx for the feedback, really appreciated! The card bug is a problem many experienced, so sad about that :(

I liked this game a lot. The level of polish and execution on its gameplay concepts was impressive. It just needs a few small QOL things added in to kick it up to that next level. Really fantastic job!

Developer

Thx a lot for your feedback! This give us the will to make it better ^^

One of the best games I've played in this jam. Impressed you got so many different cards in in 48 hours!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! <3 We rushed to implement as more cards as possible to show the game's potential, but we also left some bugs in the build :(

Very well executed on a unique idea, the variety of the cards gave it so much depth, good job!

Developer

Thx for the feedback!

Another good take on the dungeonmaster idea. It's like a puzzle game where the job isn't to beat the level, but to do it as effectively as possible, which I don't see often. Looks and plays fine too!

One quality of life change I think would be to show the player the first second of where the enemy and the hero will head towards, which I think should get rid of more ambiguous moments, where the player will take the path of least resistance, but those several paths are all similar in length.

Developer(+1)

Thx for your suggestion! We will try to add a sorth of ray sight to indicate the hero intention, maybe it will work!

I adore card games so this one hit my fancy right away. I really liked the puzzle aspect of setting up a room and the AI seemed to do a good job of pathing how you'd expect. I did run into a few bugs that made the level unfinishable, but it was pretty rare.

Developer

Thx for the feedback! Bugs will be fixed soon ;)

One of my favorite games of this jam, this was super fun. A bit janky and weirdly balanced, but no more so than any other jam game.

Developer

Thx for the feedback bro! We will balance it next days :)

Really neat concept! there were some bugs with the placement where the cards would disappear and placement felt slightly too restrictive.

Developer(+1)

Thx for you feedback! We will fix those problems in a future release!

very creative and super fun! the art is great too :)
