A fun little resource management game that fit the theme well.
Only notable comment would be the shortcut buttons being a little awkwardly placed. Still an engaging experience.
Good job!

Good job!
I managed to play the game and…I don’t know if I won or not because when spamming clicks you can skip text. The game is good and it’s a good idea. I would have liked a gimmicky minion instead of the golem, for adding more strategy, so you have to decide between bats and something else. Trap minions slowing the enemy, maybe? I think you can do more with this concept, so I suggest you to expand it. Let me know if you will do it and feel free to show your progress to me. Have a good day!
I liked the style and game play of the game. Fun short game. Fullscreen would be nice.
It's a cool idea, but you need more content or balance to reach your full potential and it would be fun to play more than once, but well done!
Now I can unleash my minions on that damned adventurer and let out a evil laugh! Muahahahahaha!
In all seriousness, I think you went the route not a lot of people dared venture for this jam, and the result was pretty cool!
I did experience issues with the AI though, sometimes my minions would just go to the lich king and get stuck there instead of targeting the adventurers.
Congrats on submitting!
This strikes me as a very clever way to hit the theme very hard with very little time. Well done. I think the controls were a bit awkward. I considered suggesting the scroll wheel or right click to switch, but some people are on macs. Perhaps using space to switch instead of (or in addition to) 1-2-3 would work well? But I had fun.
The idea matches the theme pretty well, the game is fun and cute (Love those bats).
Well done!
The game was really fun! For some reason it was fun to see how my summoned guards killed the other one and I just had to heal them. It also looked pretty nice. The only problem is that the game sometimes just resetted bc of nothing but the rest was ok. Well done!
If the game could also use mouse clicks to switch summons, the gameplay could be smoother. The game concept aligns very well with the theme.
iceboyarch in the comments below mentioned that my game was very similar to yours so I had to check it out! Turns out it is! Both of our games feature playing as bosses trying to defeat the Heroes, and they both involve summoning minions to do our bidding! I'm enjoying finding games in this jam that are similar to our concept and comparing them.
Very cool game! I like the art style and design. Music is nice too. Gameplay is cool, though it is a bit short and easy. But it's a game jam and I know its hard to squeeze in much in such a short time! Also I always think it's better to have things be too easy rather than too difficult. This would be awesome to see more expanded upon!
Great work though!! Good luck in the jam!
nice. i think this concept is one of the obvious ones, but you definately made it work better than some other examples ive seen. a little unbalanced (for the player's favor, which is better off than the opposite) but other than that great fun.
The chosen one got nothing on the lich king. Lich king >>>>>> chosen one. Good job!!
Love the music, story, and all! Nice work! I trapped the chosen one with 3 of those big golems and beat em on my second try!
Oh also, the bats coming to be nursed back to health when they're hurt is so cute!!!
Might have been a tad easy (accidentally reset before reaching the end so idk if that changes), but I LOVED the core gameplay. I've always really liked summoners as a character archtype and the heal made me feel like my posiitoning still mattered even as I was summoning my millionth bat lol :) Really well done!
