Good polish and smooth gameplay. I am not sure whether it would have been better to have the instruments show up sooner since just hearing the violin part for a minute or two got a little old until other things mixed in. ... but I also was not the best at getting through the obstacles quickly. Also "I can't get my beholder to throw my bards hard enough to fly through the towers" is not a sentence that I think has been said before.

Developer

Thank you for giving it a spin!

Super polished and smooth experience. Animations look sooo stylish, music sounds amazing, and gameplay is very fun.
Great level design and very appreciated checkpoints. I loved it

Amazing animations. A couple weird hitbox interactions that were a little frustrating, such as the beholder getting stuck under the blue roofs on the towers, but over all a very fun game! I loved how more instruments would join the music as you collected them for your bards.

Thank you for play! I agree, some of the hitboxes could have been fixed. It's not a jam game without a bit of jank!

Super great art and polish, and platforming felt great!

Developer

Good to hear! Thanks!

First off, hands down one of the most stylish games I have seen so far! Thankfully, there is more to this one than just flash, there is substance and some really compelling gameplay mechanics and moments come in to play. Flappy Birds Followed By Pinball. Fantastic.

I honestly can't give much in the name of feedback on this. The game looks amazing, sounds lovely, and plays really well.

Developer

The high praise is very much appreciated! We are glad the hard work paid off!

Nice bards and animations !

Really well polished and love the style of it! Loved the bubble mechanic and having to shoot some out to be able to fit through the gaps. Nice scaling difficultly through the level!

Submitted(+1)

Using a bubble that grows and shrinks is a pretty damn clever way to use the theme!

This is such a great game! Music, Art and Gameplay are top notch, this one is a must play!

I REALLY LOVED the art and the music. All the levels make made me laugh. The experience was perfect. The only problem for me was that i am a noob on this type of playstyle ahah Bravo!

Developer

Haha, thank you. Our artist and composer are both extremely talented. Our level titles *are* pretty "punny."

The art and music is amazing!I initially struggled to get used to the controls but eventually I got the hang of it

Developer

I'm glad you got the hang of it! Thank you for playing :)

Really cool and stylish game! Loved the animated stickers on the left side, and the layering of the music was awesome too. The main thing that felt strange to me was it seemed like shooting a bard would reset my momentum, so if I'm rolling along the ground, jump, and fling a bard backwards, instead of going faster forward, I slowed down. I think the movement would feel super good if the momentum carried over.

Would really appreciate if you could also rate my team's game, Micromancer! Cheers!

Developer

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback. We will keep it in mind if we make any future updates. We will definitely check out Micromancer!

Yeah, managed to reach the infamous javascript error !

Joke aside, the game looked pretty okay to me and really grew on me the more I played. The level design and the juice kept me playing to the end, so congratz !

Developer

Ha! That's like this game's version of "beating" Tetris :)

Amazing game, I do not believe you did that in 4 days. Amazing art and original gameplay 5/5

Thank you so much!

This game looks BEAUTIFUL. And it's oozing with personality. A bit tricky to do the platforming at time, but a nice challenge. Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, Zach! Loved your submission, as always. You're a huge inspiration.
