everything about this game works so well! it's fairly simple but fun and satisfying, and deep enough for the time it takes to complete. i love the writing and dialogue options. from the artstyle to the gameplay, this was a very cleverly designed game for the scope and theme of this game jam. wonderful work.
edit: i just noticed you get slower the more gold you're carrying, i love that detail!

You made such a charming game! I really enjoyed it :) Especially the hand drawing style of it and the characters. I think it would be even more fun to have more interactions with them!
I tried to take risks at first but after a couple of failures it seemed better to play it safe and go out just for a couple of coins insted af sprinting to the centre of the village :)
I also wonder if the scaffold plays some role in the game or is just...a decoration? :D

The scaffold its just some decoration to give some ambientation hahah, we also had a fountain and then changed it to this :)

Art style is really unique in its simplicity and I like it. Guards can take your money while you're stealing, but I think it's just a slight overlook. Overall fun game 💰

Cool artstyle, nice detail with changing the player looks when he gets more money. I also like that the more money in your pockets slows you down
