Nice graphics

The intro scene was good. It was a little difficult for me to understand the interactive materials around it.

Loved the environmental storytelling, and the story as a whole! The crystal jump mechanic was slightly confusing at first but really enjoyable once I figured it out. This is super impressive for just 96 hours, congrats on making an amazing game!

Very few games with a millions times the budget managed to captivate me with their intro. Growth Spurt entangled me in its first 30 secs of the game.

UX could use a slight improvement. More feedback to distinguish interactable items would be highly recommended. (maybe a highlight shader on interactable items with a button prompt?) Also i initially though the floor in the tower was laval until i realized i could walk on it.

However these are just nitpicks at this point. Game has an insane atmosphere and the controls and puzzles are very fun! It's a 5/5 for me ;)

The visuals totally took me back to the old-school games I used to play when I was a kid! I was on edge the whole time. It's wild how much stuff you managed to cram into this game, that's seriously impressive. The graphics might not be top-notch, but it was still a blast to play. I loved how wacky and weird it was, and the parkour moves were on point. It was like a crazy mix of uncanny visuals, sounds, and storytelling. I just wish you made it browser-friendly so more people could experience the madness!

Got stuck a few times. Didn't know what I could interact with for most of the game. Thought the red floor in the last level was lava, not a safe floor.

sadly doesn't run in wine under linux :(

I did get stuck in the second part of the game where the bounce pads were introduced, since I didn’t know you could pick up the crystals at that point. Other than that, I really loved the puzzle element of the game!

Very cute game! I love the ball people.
I did get stuck at some parts. I think the bouncy pads weren't super easy to spot in the environment, and the rising floor texture near the end looked like lava so I didn't think I could walk on it.
Otherwise I thought the crystal mechanics were very clever, especially jumping and hanging on walls with them. And the environment design / props were very cute! Also enjoyed the morphing platforms, were those some kind of blendshape?

Overall great job team!

Developer

Thanks a lot!
The growing platforms are simply a static mesh that is set to scale over time to a desired (adjustable) size based on a editable pivot point its attached to. Had to do some tweaking to get them to grow exactly as intended, but with a debug option that allows to see both end states at any given time, it was fairly easy to populate the game with them.

Super cool! Thanks for the explanation!

I liked the surreal atmosphere and the dual purpose mechanic of the crystals. Well done!

Loved it! The environmental worldbuilding was especially great, creating an eerie and mysterious atmosphere. The puzzles were interesting with some nice platforming mechanics. I didn't get stuck anywhere and the pacing was good. Overall great game!

I absolutely pooped myself when the red crystals first popped up! That was so cool. Loved the little detail in the second scene where the little sphere-person follows you with their eyes.

I missed the crystal that fades the walls (I think it might've made it clearer for me that it was interactible if the cross-hair or the hand or something changed when I hovered over it), but when I got it I thought it was such a cool effect! Spacey!

The creepy skeleton dead ball! omg xD this game is so funny and also scary

It took me a bit to understand I could use the crystal to jump, but it's a satisfying mechanic. Omg when the blinking sound came on and at the top I saw the glowy sphere, and the ominous choir music, so cool!

The story was so mysterious, I kept playing because I wanted to know why it was happening, and I loved the mysterious ending! SO well done hope you're proud :) <3 !!

This is an impressive submission! The music and overall atmosphere was quite mysterious. I do wish there were more tutorials, especially for grabbing / placing crystals. I really enjoyed it!

I was pleasantly surprised by this game! The atmosphere was really well done.

I almost quit prematurely because I couldn't figure out what to do in the starting area - maybe adding some sort of indicator could help with that.

Very nicely done!
