Great idea! A bit laggy in my browser

Developer

Thanks!

Yeah, browser version is mighty buggier than exe one

I enjoyed the concept, and i tried to get all the goals (i only ended up getting fat). Overall really enjoyed this, and i hope it is developed more in the future : D

Thanks!

This game had me questioning the meaning of my space bar. It also made me hungry 😋

Developer

Thanks!!

(please, eat some, being hungry is harmful to being happy)

I got high, and then I ate a lot. 10/10

Developer

You've gamed exactly as intended)

Thanks!!

Really cool game, I think the idea and the small bits of comedy everywhere really elevates the game's overall enjoyment. I think this game has some real potential if it is developed further.

Developer

Thanks!

I have huge plans for it)

Had me at the super S, stayed for the surreal little demo. Had what I suspect might be a bug where whenever I jumped up on something I would repeatedly bounce up and down. The comedic tone of the notes as well as the core premise has some entertaining potential for certain.

Developer

Thanks!!

That bounciness is indeed a small physics bug, but I decided to leave it as a feature, although didn't manage to implement it in a meaningful way in the level itself

This is a really fun game! I especially like the humor all around! I did not find the bar nor the sword, but it doesn't matter, I enjoyed it :)
I love the take on "Scale"! I'd suggest adding a satisfying "munch" sound whenever we eat something, that would be chef kiss! Great submission!

Developer

Thanks!

Yeah, i really did miss with not adding that munch)

Hehehe I immediatly got so fat I didn't fit in the house anymore lol. Cool game (and cool logo ;) )

Developer(+1)

Same happened to me!

Thanks!!!

This is such a clever take on the theme! Really using "Scale" in a lot of different ways. Awesome job.

Developer

Thanks a huge lot!

That was fun! A neat concept, and good humor. I can see the mechanic being expanded for a lot of different puzzles and applications. One note, mouse movement bugged sometimes. I'm not 100% sure it was the issue, but you may want to check out Cursor.lockState to ensure the cursor stays where it's supposed to. Good stuff! :)

Developer

Thanks a lot for the review!

Yeah, there's a camera\controls glitch is caused by your object scale in Unity (ooooh, another theme reference) going <0, but I left it as a separate mechanic)

Cursor.lock is there too, but it got logically overwhelming at that time to cover all cases properly, so I left that in too

Cool game, I managed to collect everything but never found out how to get or check HP, then ate too many leeks which caused the player to bug out. Otherwise interesting creative idea and good humour.

The idea of eating healthy and unhealthy foods to gain weight and also size was a cool idea.
I also liked the treadmill or eathing vegetables to lose weight, which I needed to fit through a door after eating too much cake :D

The tutorial was a nice way to explore the mechanics and I enjoyed it more than the real level. The house felt too random in regards to object placement, especially the piles of furniture.
I also couldn't complete the level. Not sure if I needed to find the health or what else I was missing.

I liked the atmosphere of the notes which definitely matched their design.

🥰🥰🥰

Thanks a lot for the review!

Essentially goal of the level is to find a Sword and an HP bar, both hidden in the level. I see that I kinda obscured one of the indicated entrances to the place where the bar is at, that's lack of outsider playtesting for sure.

possible burger...

Developer

Yep, that's a patty in a pun)

Fun concept and funky tune!

Developer

Thanks!
I wrote it at around 4 am on day 3, and then blasted around the house for another 4h on a loop)

drifty, but a funny take on the 'Scale' aspect of the theme

Good humor, and I like the eating mechanic. Movement feels a bit slippery though, like you're moving on ice.

Thanks a lot!
