Perfect short & sweet puzzle game for the jam. You got a lot of mileage out of the main mechanic and all the different ways you explored it.

I found a small oversight where you could push small crates to the edges of the pits that normally couldn't be jumped over normally and just make the jump.

All in all, the game is very well put-together, especially considering that you made it in 2 days as a solo dev with all original assets. You did a great job and the game was a blast to play!

Developer

I believe that a solution is a solution! Thanks fir the feedback and thank you so much for playing the game :)

Cool game! It's a solid puzzle system that you explored in numerous cool ways, and it really fits with the theme.

My suggestions to quickly tweak and improve the game would be some simple sounds/music (can be royalty free to start) and a GUI element or prompt that indicates the ability to reset with the R key.

Developer

Thanks so much for your feedback!

Really cute puzzle platformer! I did get stuck on the first level and didn't know how to reset so I needed to reload the game.

Developer

Forgot to mention that R resets. Thanks for playing though!

Had a lot of fun playing this and you stuck to the theme really well, good job !

Developer

Thanks for trying it out!

Loved the cute lil fella! Definitely got stuck a few times with a box crushing my head but cool game!

Love the little wizard! Fun concept and a nice amount of work done in 48 hours! Good job!

Developer

Thank you so much!

Had a lot of fun. I figured out the 'special way to cast' but I still didn't figure out the third level, lol. Will keep trying! Job well done.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Happy you had fun :)

Simple yet functional premise! I'm not one to judge about smaller bugs or design issues since it's a very short jam, so kudos on making a game with style!!

Developer

Aw thank you for your kind words. Thank you also for playing!

Without repeating what others have said about being easily stuck or needing a slightly better tutorial, I think the art is charming and the little wizard fella has a very adorable push-n-pull sprite. Still a nice game, and while understanding the time constraints can be rough it would've been a more pleasant experience with some sounds!

Developer

Sounds are my weakness! but I know how much they can do for a game ;-; Sorry it’s silent, but thank you so much for trying it out!

It's really easy to softlock. Pretty much right off the bat I got the first crate stuck against a wall and couldn't get it off no matter how many times I changed its size. When it worked though, the game was really fun, and the puzzles were really engaging!

Developer

Oh yes, changing scale instantly is a recipe for disaster!! Using some animation or a tween may have made it much smoother of a transition. Thanks again for playing the few levels I could offer.

Nice work! I loved the animation of the character when it pushes the objects. Nice application of theme! Congrats!

Developer

Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed playing.

Very nice assets. Fun gameplay mechanic, but as other people pointed out it is easy to softlock.

I think the game needs a better way to teach the player its mechanics. For example, a lot of time for me was figuring out how exactly the boxes and barrels interact with each other.

Developer

I was orginally planning for it to work more like a metroidvania. You slowly get the spells, slowly learn about boxes and barrels, and then well slowly isn’t a good thing for game jams haha. Thanks again for playing!

Fun mechanic, but it was kinda buggy. I got softlocked a lot when crates disappeared or trapped me beneath them.

Developer

Yes… sorry about the bugs. At some point I started making a “throw” mechanic for pushing things off of you, but ultimately decided it didnt feel like what a Wizard would do.

I like how you implemented the theme, and the story really is also very fitting.

Simple but effective and cute art style.

I only had one problem where I got stuck under a crate because I stood right next to it while throwing growth potions at it, but other than that, great game!

Developer

Should have warned about how crates are the main antagonist (jk) thanks again for playing and I hope I can share a better game when I have the time :)

Very cute character and an impressive number of levels! The gameplay mechanic is well utilized.

Developer

Thank you! I hope you had fun.

Looks like we had similar ideas! I like your style

Developer

Can’t wait to try out your game then :) thanks for playing!

A pretty solid game, simple but good puzzles. i softlocked and had to refresh and restart once when a crate god deleted but still fun.

Developer

Sorry bout that! Thanks for playing :)

Great main mechanic! Fits the theme but is also interesting and made for great puzzles. Good work!
