How does your game fit the theme?
The game centers around a lizard who must scale a mountain, crawling across walls, ceilings, and cliffs. However, along the way, the lizard will also change size, scaling up and down to fit certain challenges. Lizards also usually have scales; that one might be a reach, though.

My absolute fave of the jam so far, I think. Short, sweet, with well-implemented scaling mechanics and an effective story. Enjoyed the music and the controls a great deal.

An extremely minor thing that bothered me a little was when the lizard reaches the top of a ledge I kept falling off if I wasn't trying to move 'towards' the ledge and was just climbing up (if that makes sense). Maybe you already tried it, but it may have felt a little more smooth to control the character if they were given a little nudge to climb over the lip of a ledge.

Anyway, as I said: extremely minor - the rest is so, so good: an amazing achievement in 96 hours, great stuff.

  • "when the lizard reaches the top of a ledge I kept falling off if I wasn't trying to move 'towards' the ledge and was just climbing up"

That is a very good point! As-is, climbing past a ledge only grants a minor height boost; I didn't consider granting (very) minor horizontal speed as well! That is something I will look into further; it would be a great anti-frustration feature.

Thank you for the feedback!

Nice simple but effective platformer! Had a lot of fun! Love me a good lizard game!

A very short and simple platformer, a very simple interpretation of the theme, but it executes on it quite well! I really like the little cutscenes you added at the end of the game, it made it feel a lot more complete! I do wish there were some sort of upgrades or that the lizard controlled a bit faster, but other than that, nice work :)

A very polished and cohesive game with an excellent concept! I really enjoyed it!

A very nice game! Lizard movements look so satisfying. I liked that sticky jump to the ceiling :D

love the art style, really enhances the classic platformer vibe! Getting to choose whethere I want to master obstacles as a big or small lizard was also super fun, especially when having to redo sections and realising how much better the second choice worked out

It's very cute! The wall-climbing mechanic is very original, and I think the little lizard is super adorable. The music fits well, and the cinematics are beautiful—really nice overall.

Amazing bite-sized platformer, loved the end

Fun game, neat size mechanic. Best part about this game is the tutorial-less tutorial, very cleverly designed to teach you the mechanics without explicitly teaching you the mechanics.

Yess! This is what jams are about! Finished the game. It had an actual ending, a twist one at that. Good mechanics, well executed. The intro was nicely done! Not really a bad thing to say for a 96h game. Keep at it!

Great work! Game feels very mysterious. I like the puzzling aspect and mechanics. Very fun.
