Super great idea with the afterlife and the scales! Great game
Enjoyment: 4/5
Creativity: 5/5
Style: 4/5
It probably would've been cooler if the game was infinite
What was that? This mix of concepts and fitting the topic is amazing.
The art is wonderful and the gameplay simple yet enjoyable.
Congratulations, amazing job! SYNTHWAVE FOR THE WIN!.
PD. It remembered to one of our previous project for a Jam, also in the synthwave style, it felt very similar! Take a look if curious, on my page called Cryptogeddon!
The art is very good
I wonder how you made the font effect
⚖️
Thank you! If you mean the glitch effect, I did it by outlining in blue and pink and then shifting pixels out of alignment. There's probably an easier way to do it 😅
If you mean the effects on words such as "paradise" in the text boxes, those were done in Godot!
The art is so cool and really appreciate the detail of allowing players to skip the intro in a jam game like this! Great job
It's really punk, and the gameplay is challenging and good, which I really like. Also, the music is quite catchy.
NIICE GAME!!!
Wow, the polish here is amazing! I loved the aesthetic, and the gameplay was simple but fun.
really, really fun concept. The artstyle was also very interesting and creative. had lots of fun
Oh my god, this was soooo fun!!!!! From the dialogue to the actual gameplay, it was so smooth and satisfying, thank you for such a great experience! Who knew my sins weighed so much...
WOW, this was such a joy to play!! The visuals are stunning and so polished. I loved frantically jumping from scale to scale to throw the weights around - such a fun double play on the theme as well. :D Awesome stuff!
Great all around! The QoL to be able to skip the intro and choose a difficulty is a amazing for a jam game. The pacing was perfect. Felt frantic, but readable.
Wow ! So cool ! And the art / music is DOPE :D
As a feedback, I'd say to let the buttons function always on the screen and maybe not having 3 different action buttons (it's a lot). Was really cool to play ♥
And you could also add a scoreboard with times :D
That was fun!
Fantastic synthwave/vaporwave inspired art executed flawlessly! I'm totally observing your game for some pixel art tricks to pick up :)) Was easy to get into the flow once I got the hang of things. Also, love the ancient Egypt theming, this game feels so right on so many level!
Do check out our game too... different scales, ofc ;)
Visuals are amazing! Music is great. too. Story is a plus, and adds to the gameplay. Controls are intuitive, once i learned the buttons. Great stuff. A bit repetetive, but thats obviously a short arcade game.
Really cool interpretation of the Weighing of the Heart story! Vapourwave ancient Egypt isn't something I've seen before but it's such a cool combination. Visuals are very striking and the music is banging. Excellent work!
Amazing graphics and music. Though wish the movement was a bit tighter. Requiring two actions (pick up and throw) feels a bit akward in such a fast paced game => i wish it was just a single punch that makes the tiles fly
This is really nice :)! I love the aesthetics and theme. Quite short, but there's a lot of interesting decisions and different ways to play (and it's not at all clear which one is the best) – great work!
Nice! Best use of the "weight scales" motif I've seen - Well Done!
The level of polish is really impressive I must say, I love how the lore ties to the gameplay.
