This should be given to civil engineers on their first semesters. Great idea and execution! I accidentally crushed all the gnomes with a factory tho :(

Hilarious idea, awesome job with the gnomes running around to various buildings. 10/10 would go bankrupt again.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I programmed a lot of the gnomes moving. It was REALLY a challenge.

City builder, balance, and building a tower? Thats cool and ambitious. I liked it a lot.

Physics-based-balancing plus city-builder-management-game is a fascinating blend. I like the concept of this game, but I didn't find myself really getting into it. Probably mostly because management-style games have never been my thing rather than anything related the quality of this gameplay in particular.

The music was slightly grating, which didn't help. I think the reason why might have to do with how most of the song only has one thing going on at once (ignoring percussion), and the MIDI instruments themselves all have very one-dimensional sounds, which quickly gets repetitive.

I do like the aesthetics and the gnome-mountain-log lore you have is fun.

Very fun! Though the curved buildings mess me up at times, they also add to the charm. It’s an interesting thought to think about, how no matter how huge the city, it can come crashing down with just a little bit of error.

This game is pretty fun and replayable. Fits the theme really well and has really great art and mechanics. I really enjoyed playing this. Good Work!

This is so fun and very re playable. Fits the theme perfectly too, nice work!

Music and gameplay are nice and relaxing. Love the art style. Very polished game :) Well done.

Cute. Love the placing of the buildings and mix between physics and idle game. I am missing some concrete goal, even though it seems roughly clear to me that you have to build at least one of every building in order to progress to the next set of buildings.

Developer(+1)

getting Science points unlocks new buildings for you, although that might not have been too clear, oh well

Love this game, saving it to play later. love the strategy involved.

Submitted(+2)

my gnomes kept on falling off their buildings so i killed them all >:3 had me giggling the entire time :P

Submitted(+2)

very cool concept, wish it was a little clearer how gnomes interact with buildings or how to make money faster. would love to see a fully fleshed out version

Submitted(+2)

Oh this was super cute, and quite fun. I really liked the challenge once the bigger and differently-shaped buildings started coming in. Part of me wishes the buildings would drop from above instead of being wedged in when placed, and I missed a way to look at building descriptions after the initial unlock screen.

Developer(+1)

I see weve got a fellow gnome enjoyer here :b, we did think about making the buildings drop down from above but decided against it. I did try to change the building system to one that used multiple raytraces, but couldnt get it to work in a non-jank way within the time.

Submitted(+1)

Why of course, the first thing I did after submitting was search "gnome" in the submissions to find other fellow gnome enjoyers :P The current building system is a nice compromise, I like it.

I like the idea, maybe I didn't play for long enough but I didn't really feel like the balancing part was that hard? I think there's some potential here though!

Developer(+1)

haha, it gets harder as you go along, yes, theres a few physics things in place to make sure you cant screw up too bad too easily in the early game

Nice concept ! Great work !

Super cute! Gameplay reminds me of some physics based puzzle flash games I would play when I was younger. Very polished and nice, good job!

Submitted(+2)
