You are a flame in a dungeon build for a player that isn't constantly shrinking, Thus since you are fire you are shrinking making it harder to navigate through and see what is around in the dungeon.

Unsettling, I loved it! I am going to save this in my collection of “Shaders I love.” This is the kind of PSX aesthetic I strive to reach one day. I tried to fake it using low-res texture in my game. It is so lovely! Well done! Also, create speed and inputs. Nonetheless, I was not sure if all of the other entities were enemies. Did they chase you at a certain point? Also, lowering the POV made me think it had a bug instead of the avatar dying.
yeah the enemies do give chase. You must have been evading them real good though, most of them can't see too far. And the shader is in the project file if you want it!

Amazing vibe and great style!
I love the art style! There is just one thing which bothered me a bit about gameplay: the worse you play, the harder it get's. On my first playthrough i just made it to floor 2 and on my second attempt i actually made it until floor 17, where i only shoot torches and avoiding enemies. I would also love some additional objectives during a run in one floor, but i get when you didn't managed it due to time constraints. Overall i think you did a amazing job with this entry though.
I plan on maybe doing an update after the voting time, and game jam have fully ended. I'll be taking this into account. Thanks!
