How does your game fit the theme?
There is a small ant with a big gun and a even bigger anteater. It's all built to scale. Usually in games with an ant with a gun the gun is much smaller, but not this time.

This is great. The concept is so fun! I enjoyed it a lot. That being said don't get it twisted you need some real gamer skills to defeat that dastardly ant eater. The mechanic where you get pushed by the kick back of the gun is actually pretty cool and the art is very enjoyable. The number one thing I would change is increasing the speed that the gun is allowed to spin, I think this would help the game play a lot. O also I love a game with a composer so shout out to the music person. Great work on this!

It's a unique interpretation for the jam's theme. Good job!

Great concept. Pretty challenging but I think it suits the size of the game. Found myself thinking 'this is the one.. Just one more try'.
Nicely done!

Hitboxes are unclear, gun rotates too slowly, no fun

Hilarious idea! The concept and the artwork are amazing! I also found the game quite hard, but I imagine that it would be difficult for an ant to use a gun so that checks out.

Funny idea, but a faster or even instantaneous gun's rotation would be a wonderful traversing and dodging tool

The idea is hilarious, but it's really really hard since the hitboxes are big.

+1 for fellow Ant Game

“______ with a gun” gotta be one my favorite genres. I really like the kickback on the gun for moving around! However, the tongue attack is a little hard to dodge without knowing which direction it’s coming from.

Verry nice i love it

I didn't knew I wanted to be an ant shooting with a glock in my next life before this game !

Thank you for implementing this concept in my head.

I liked the pixel art a lot, I felt like it could be even more pretty if the health bar match the vibe.

I liked the heavy controls, and I feel like using the gun recoil as a dash is really cool.

The base game is quite fun, and I liked the theming, but there are still a lot of pain points getting in the way of the fun. The rotating and walking is very slow, making it really difficult to actually dodge the tongue attack. Whether you are hurt by the tongue attack feels inconsistent. You can only get one, maybe two hits off during half of the attacks, dealing a pitiful amount of damage.  The knock back makes thematic sense, but doesn't play that well. Since you rotate so slowly, you cannot use the large movement to get around interestingly.  When rotating, the gun snap flips to the other side, getting in the way of me hitting the boss multiple times.

I hope you don't take this to negatively. There is mostly a lot to get in the way of the fun game underneath, and I hope your next game will become even better.
