The intro cutscene and the instruction manuel were very charming (maybe an ending cutscene would have been nice to conclue the story, but I'm really nitpicking). It took a bit of time to get used to the gameplay, but when I did it felt really good (did a total reversal against the Kaiju who was winning 2-0 and it felt really satisfying haha).
I also love the feeling of being really small and powerless on your own in this gigantic fight, but still being able to influence it however you can at your scale!
And the artstyle is just so cute and pretty.

The outro was the last item on our to do list… To be honest we also finished the intro in the last 30min (at least before the extension) but be sure that we’ll add one post jam ! Thanks a lot for your kind words ! We loved your game as well !
Had to play a fellow kaiju game. This game is amazing from a creative standpoint and very fun art style by H, solid sounds, and the movement is satisfying although the tape measurer doesn't respond quite like I would want. That's the only real fault to this game is the difficulty in execution seems high or I just was inept at figuring out the right click reel in despite the great tutorial visuals. One of the best games of this jams for sure.
Thanks a lot fellow kaiju fighter. The learning curve can be challenging but without challenge there is no triumph in victory (meaning we’ll adjust it post-jam)…

Art in this is absolutely gorgeous, looks like something out of an action-packed kids book. I think with a bit more tuning a mech/kaiju fighting game with individual limb control like this could be sick. The feeling of zipping from the bottom of the mech to the top was great, and the sense of scale, when the camera moves out on a block/hit, is awesome.

Art is some of the best i've seen, truly gorgeous. Gameplay mechanic is solid!
Only criticism is that the info dump tutorial, while very well made, would be better swapped for an in-game tutorial to familiarise the player.
We felt having a static tutorial (although animated) was easier and faster to implement in those 4 days than a specificly designed level.. But it’s tru that you kinda get launched in battle immediately. We’re thinking of way to improve that in the post-jam updates. Thanks for the feedback !
Conceptually super awesome and I think the gameplay almost hits it but there's a lot of things that have me struggling at the game for me to really understand it. The physics and the movement is really fast paced but the zoomed out slow motion also feels a bit slow. Also the fact I have no mouse makes it hard to aim, the arrow only slightly helps as well. Amazing art and the concept is awesome, even though I struggled its really fun to swing around as you pilot the mech!
Man how you managed to play with a touchpad is beyond me ! Actually we feel that a controller would be the best input for the game but decided against it to allow more player to try the game in the context of the jam. Maybe in a future update ! Thanks for trying our game !

it's such a shame that the positions reset every time a hit gets blocked though, makes it a little hard to learn the controls for the first few minutes
but the idea is really engaging and could easily be expanded into something really cool. love the entry!!
Thanks a lot ! You’re right about the position reset that’s the closest to a ‘recoil’ feeling we got in the time of the jam but there is room for improvement here ! We’ll absoluteley keep working on it thanks for the encouragement !
Excellent and cohesive style, I really loved everything about the presentation but I could not figure out the controls so couldn't play it well

I really like this! This feels like a puzzle game disguised as a fighting game. My only nitpicks are its a bit hard to control and the game hides my mouse so i cant really aim that well without trusting the general direction of the arrow pointing at where i am aiming. Besides those though, really fun game! Beautiful style that stands out from the crowd and how you control your gundam is really unique!
