Very Unique go with the other normal scale up down platformers as you give the bow and arrow , fire and water,
although I struggled with bow count , but Game is unique and enjoyable.

Other comments mentioned the same frustrations I had, but still this is an awesome idea that is great for a game jam!

Cool concept, animations were also smooth, had fun !

Submitted(+1)

Nice idea! Unfortunately it was a bit frustrating when I missed an arrow and had to restart the whole thing, but the sponge concept is quite interesting and it's really visually polished with the squishy animations. Would love a few tweaks such as an undo feature to make the puzzles less punishing.

Developer(+1)

Undo feature sounds great, sincerly i didnt think of it, and i dont know how to apply it, thanks for your comment sad to hear it was frustrating

Hello! I loved the creativity here. The arrow mechanic was cool (albeit punishing) way to infuse skill and resource management into the mechanic of swapping weight. I think that with some somewhat small tunings this would have been a really smooth play. You could consider:

- Making the movement faster and tighter to control (I knew what I had to do at times but had trouble executing)

- Improve how easy it is to see why type of arrow you have equipped

I couldn't get past the second level because my arrows weren't hitting anything so I got frustrated and quit. Cool idea but the playability needs to be improved.

Developer

Sad to hear that, you need to click more time, i havent had the time to prevent this problem

I think the margin for error is too great here; every arrow has a single intended purpose so there is no room for other solutions or mistakes. But then again, I had a lot of fun experimenting and slowly finding the intended solution.

I like your art!! Suggest reducing the number of buttons to improve the continuity of tactile operation~ just increase more flow!try mine

Very unique idea! Having a limited number of arrows is great, but I feel like it would've been more challenging if you had them all at the start. Otherwise you know exactly what to do because you get the correct arrows in order. Also maybe an aiming indicator so you don't miss your last sponge shot and have to restart from the begining

Developer

Yeahh aiming indicator, and maybe snap to sponges, i miss that, some puzzles dont work if you start with all the arrows, Thanks for your comment!

I found the levels a little too punishing sometimes (that seesaw was tough!), but I enjoyed your puzzle design. Definitely made me think!

Submitted(+1)

Nice game idea, i like it a lot !! I was stuck sometime (but that must be because of poor skill ahah)

Really fun concept with the different types of arrows and cool puzzles! The movement could use some work but overall a very enjoyable experience! :D

Developer

Thank you for your comment! yes the movement needs some polish

Submitted

Extreme sluggish movement but the concept is conveyed well. Some games make use of left middle and mouse clicks to toggle functionality, I think this game would benefit from a similar control scheme rather than having ot click the arrows all the time.

Developer

You can scroll Mouse between arrow type

This was fun concept, and I love how the bow and arrow feels! The arrow pickup sound is very BotW reminiscent, which I really enjoyed. I did try to stand on the moving platform on the fourth stage and shoot the sponge that activates the button, and it clipped me through the ground, but I'm assuming that's a pretty uncommon bug. I really enjoyed this!

Developer

Yeah is a bug :((( a strange one but a mistake! thanks for your comment!

I think the concept is great, a platformer where you scale things up and down is quite common on the jam, but having limited arrows really sells the puzzle. I think the game is at its best with resource management in mind, give players limited arrows, and many sponges to shot, and you'll have a great puzzler. I'm not too fond of the controls, however, specially when you shoot.  If you face left, you can't shoot right, and viceversa, and also, it really is frustrating when the arrows don't hit the sponge I'm aiming, maybe turn it into a shrink/growth gun and take aiming out of the game? Overall, it's a great twist on a somewhat common idea, but the execution could of have been better.

Developer

U right! needs polish in the rotation and the aim arrows accuracy!! thanks for your feedback!

Submitted(+1)

Really cool idea. Using different arrows to scale objects up and down is a really unique idea. This is actually the first projectile-based game I have played in this jam so far.

A few improvements:

- It would be cool to be able to cancel a shot. Sometimes I positioned badly and realized I wasn't able to hit the target, so I had to restart.

Besides that, I really enjoyed the different puzzles. I'm really interested to see where you take it from here.

Good job!

Developer

Yes, right click is gonna be the cancel shot input, but i forget, when this happends to me i change to normal arrows to not waste the usefull one. thanks for your feedback!

Interesting game you got! Def see the connection to the theme and also enjoyed the simple and clean aesthetics.

The only bit of feedback that I can give is with just how precise you need to be in order to progress. Like you really need to be precise with your arrows and platforming. Failing is just an instant reset it seems. I would miss one jump and or shoot an arrow that I felt like should've hit a sponge and nothing would happen. Was a bit frustrating but could forgive it at times because of the fun of the puzzles. Regardless, really cool stuff and it would be awesome to see it further developed.

Developer

You are tottally right, is reload or nothing, i tought a lot of this but i cant find a solution without destroy everything,  thanks for your feedback!

I'm really happy playing this!!

This is a really nice puzzle game idea, feel like portal but with arrow and sponge ( and scaling as base mechanic ) !

Submitted(+1)

This is a lot of fun! I do wish that the jumping felt a little less stunted, but it makes a lot of sense given the constraints of the sponge size changes. I like the shooting arrows and picking them up, it adds a depth to the puzzles that I haven't seen many people utilize in this jam. There's a lot of shooting to make things different sizes, but managing a resource is a cool innovation that works in your favor. Well done!
