The art is amazing! I think teaching the player for level 2 could be done without punishing them making them run the seeds back up. A reset button would ne nice! The movement is interesting but a bit clunky to control. I love the aesthetic for the game and the overall idea. Overall a visually pleasing game that’s quite fun to play. Great work!
The game idea is really cool taking food making you bigger and spit them to resize at start shape and weight is really nice, also love the background of the room ( and the art in eneral ) maybe some platform are hard to reach sometime but really cool game :)
This game is good and has a lot of potential, but there are 4 things I would improve:
1. Movement feels out of control, would love some smooth control like the one from Celeste or Hollow Knight
2. I prefer assets that have the same pixel size for all assets
3. When a level is designed to go from top the bottom, the camera should lean towards bottom instead of top
4. Specially on level 3, platforms and backgrounds interfere with eachother visually
Thanks!
1. Yeah, on my side I refactored the controls similar to Celeste
2. We wanted to avoid mixel, but we prioritized other stuff to finish in time
3. You're right! I forgot to change the direction when I was designing the levels
4. We want to rework the tileset and background, the color palette and saturation makes them hard to distinguish floor and background
Thanks for the criticism!
Loved the artstyle! game was awesome! Cheers
Very cute game wish I got to finish!!! Nexxt time!! GOOD GAME!!
Very sweet game! The art was incredible, very detailed, and the whole world felt just amazing. It was a unique way to use sizes, not just size up or size down as other games did. The challenges were great, and the introduced mechanics were really interesting and added depth to the game.
Overall, I enjoyed it and the game felt great! If you decide to continue I suggest a bit of improvement on movement since it felt a bit floaty, especially on jumps.
Also, I feel like blur or a bit more dull colors on parallax in the background would really make the whole game pop up even more (don't take it too seriously since I am not a visual artist it is just a thought :D) Even though art was gorgeous on its own, I feel like making background details less visible might be worth to try out.
Well done on your game, it is definitely a creative approach and a strong entry!
You've hit the nail on most suggestion. I've actually refactored most of the player controller on my side to feel better when we move. The art part needs more work, but I'm glad on how it turned out like it was her first time making pixel art and using limited color palette. Thanks you for playing!
Also your game was one of the most creative and fun I had:)
Cool concept, had fun !
stuck on a stage but whatever, very fun to play

Got stuck on one of the levels but it was so cute! Love the attention to detail, like how you'd shake the screen when big and the little dust clouds - great job!
Hamster cute, animation of stuffing nut into mouth is cute.
The absolute cutest art ever:) I loved playing through this, nice job!
love the style ! especially the fact that it’s really a hamster cage into a room! good job :)
Enjoyed playing it! Unfortunetely I couldn't, by any means, figure my way out of stage 5 (or maybe 6, can't remember now).
Oh, and I might have cheesed the stage where you need to drop a ladder shaped object to get the food behind the locked door on the left. I used the key as weight and shoot it into the pressure plate to lift me up lol. I really loved the eating mechanic having an impact on how you traverse the stage – specially shooting the food into a direction. Congratulations on your submission!
Thanks for playing! Glad you had fun:))
Thank you! The stage you got stuck was stage 7, basically the last one, and sadly I just found out thanks to you that the level is bugged :')
It actually was one of the way to solve it! We had so many idea for levels with all the eating mechanic but got short on time...
Thanks again of playing and glad you enjoyed it!
