Simple yet effective. And thank you for such nice and smooth controls and not relying in physics engines. Yet I feel it fits the game as a pun doesn't really exploit it much. But overall really cool visual, music and gameplay.

very well polished game me likey

Good work !

This is cool as hell. I love how it totally flips the classic tetris instincts on their head - rather than packing in the platforms as low as possible, you need to stack them as high as you can!

Submitted

Really cool game! Love the Tetris inspiration. Found myself trying to use space to jump instead of W a lot might benefit from allowing both options! Not sure if the exploding barrels were supposed to damage the player? Also love the leniency with the fire, almost thought it didn't kill you until I got fully engulfed.

Love the visual elements, feels super polished and a great starting place for a full game tbh!!

This is really really well done!

Enjoyment⭐⭐⭐
This is a polished, well done version of this concept. I think it could have benefitted from a lot more shapes.

Creativity⭐⭐⭐
On theme, but there are a lot of these tetris / platformer mashups in this jam. Still, well done!

Style ⭐⭐⭐
Looks good, polished for a 48hr game.

5/5 everywhere, the game and the idea are greats. Nothing more to say just well done !

Amazing interpretation of Tetris with quite hardcore gameplay! I didn't realize it was Tetris at first, but when I DID, I truly enjoyed it! Hurry up and finish it, add meta features, and into production!

Climbing and doing Tetris was enjoyable! Great use of music and art as well!

Submitted

I love this concept! Having to climb the pieces as you place them is a super fun mechanic, trying not to block yourself in and get stuck, and trying not to squash yourself but also outpace the lava can get really challenging! Super fun arcade game

I found it fun being both a tetris-like and platformer game! I also really liked the old-school retro music.

Nice game feel, loved the VFX, good Job!

Platforming Tetris! This is great fun, but hurts my brain. Only complaint was I boxed myself in and had to wait in shame as I sank to my death.

Submitted

Lovely visuals and game feel! Super satisfying controls and VFX. I wish the platforms were rigidbodies for some extra fun chaos!

Submitted

very cool game, feels like I should be able to jump through the thin platforms but maybe Im doing something wrong?

Submitted

The game was truely fun, both due to the unique gameplay and the fine tuned difficulty.

The tetris-like mechanics combined with the platforming is really cool. Some of the platforms I couldn't really tell what is walkable. Movement is a bit slippery so it's easy to fall off but not sure if that is intentional.
