I like how you fit it to the theme! I also really liked the cover art and the end screen.

Simple concept but fun. I made it 2350 meters. After a certain point you re fast enough and there are enough obstacles that jumping over one object will have you land on another that was offscreen when you started the jump. But if you have enough snow you can survive a few hits which is nice.

Fun little game! The end screen made me laugh.

thanks for playing!

Really cool idea (actually the same of my game), sometimes the controls don't feel like working (when I spam jumping), but cool man :)

thanks for playing!

Releasing the spacebar triggers the jump, not pressing it.

Maybe that's what felt weird.

Creative take on a classic genre! Once I got used to it the controls, it was good. I think making the logs and rocks distinct so it's obvious what will hurt you would help, but a really solid game. Good job!

Fun little game. Sometimes it may be hard to spot the obstacle but you can get used to it

Great game ! I really like the gameplay and the concept, keep up the good work :)

Great concept! I enjoyed it and reached 1023 distance, although sometimes rocks were kinda hiding behind the snow, which made it a bit harder to see. Have a great day!

Cool endless game. Sometimes, the sound effects neglected to play for some reason. Also, I think that adding parallax to the background could add a lot to the immersion.

Developer

Thanks for playing! For some reason, the sound is causing problems. In Unity, it works fine, so I'll try to fix it. :)

I made it up to 2068! Your game gave me a nostalgic feeling, and now I miss the winters... especially the snowy ones. Congrats!

The aesthetic is really good! Took a run to figure out what was an obstacle, but very addicting after that!

Fun little game! I agree that it can be a bit hard to tell what are obstacles and what is background. Overall an enjoyable experience, well done!

My first few runs I had a difficult time determining which objects were obstacles  and which ones were just part of the background,  If you decide to keep working on this project that might be something to address, but it didn't stop me from really enjoying the game. Eventually I got the hang of it and was able to get a satisfying rhythm going. Nice job!

we had very similar ideas, go check my game! :)

Simple to understand and fun to try and master. Well done this us a rally nice little game

Really lovely simple game! Partly on me for not reading the instructions but I was confused why some obstacles killed me and some didn't. I know realised I was big enough to withstand them and was just shrinking but I think you could make this even better by adding some visual feedback :)

simple fun game! good job :)

I liked the concept and enjoyed the gameplay! At the very beginning, I was a bit unsure what was an obstacle and what was just a prop in the background (I apologize for not reading the instructions beforehand). Some clearer indication of what was what (maybe outlines on the obstacles and/or less saturation or a bluish tint on the trees and bushes to indicate that that they are in the background would help. Also, most bushes are dead in the winter when there is snow! And the trees should be pointing upright!)
Good game!
