How does your game fit the theme?
We had the player control two different characters of different scales: one a tiny mouse, rummaging around a cabinet, and the other a normal sized human. The player is switching back and forth between two different sizes/gameplay.

Adorable! I'm really craving a little reward when I make an ingredient or potion though. A bit of light and color would go a long way. But such a cool mechanic. Could really see it lending itself to puzzle mechanics where the potions you make help the mouse access new areas/mechanics. Great stuff!

I like the art, but the gameplay seemed a bit bare bones.

Very well done art! Interesting idea with having like 2 screens. Almost reminds me of the Nintendo ds era :)

I love the cute art style with the alchemist dude. Also, the mouse feels pretty good to control. Great job!

Super cute game! I think the idea of switching between the two is super interesting and could totally be expanded into a full fledged game.

(Mouse Game solidarity btw)

Great game! Loved the cute mouse animations, the gameplay loop was fun and was really impressed with the music transition from the quieter version for the mouse to the grander version for the human. Only nitpick is having larger hitbox for grabbing the items would be a nice quality of life change, but that's about it. Great stuff!

love the look and the double screening, was a little tough to grasp at first but had fun once I got going!

The art is great, and I really like the split gameplay system - I can see this being a really cool relaxing game, but I also think it would benefit from slightly more engagement and/or consequence in gameplay - currently I'm gravitating a lot more towards the potions gameplay, rather than the mouse gameplay, which is a shame because I really like the mouse and I want to like the mouse gameplay but it's not as engaging as the potions section :(

But really, that's my only complaint! Other than that, amazing stuff :D

Very unique spin on the theme which I liked, I did get confused in the beginning but it was my first time playing an alchemy styled game. Good job!

I love alchemy games! And I think the mouse/alchemist dynamic is a really fun take on the theme.
The art is great and the different ingredient prepping types were fun. My only complaint would be that I kept missing my jumps with the mouse haha. But maybe that's just me.

Charming game with a great theme implementation. Fantastic work!

This is really cute! The art is really nice, but in the mouse section it is initially a bit unclear what's in the foreground and what's background. The transition between the two sections is great, I especially like how the music blends nicely between the two versions of the track, which fit their respective tones wonderfully. I didn't end up making all 5 potions, while playing I didn't realise that there would be an end, I thought it would just keep generating potions random potions forever so stopped when it looked like I'd done everything. Nice job overall.

The art for this game is super appealing! I especially love the wizard drawings in the intro. I think that this game has a ton of potential, even if it is a little repetitive as of now. I liked the mechanic of switching between gathering ingredients and making potions. I feel like that idea could be expanded on even further. I would have liked if there was some form of stakes, or a heightened sense of discovery to help keep the player engaged. I completed all five recipes but without adding some new elements or challenge I don't think I would have done many more. A couple of the mini-games could also be better explained with more time to add a tutorial or tool tips. It took me a minute to figure out the melting mini-game because all the others have dotted squares you are supposed to put the ingredients in, but that one didn't. Overall though this is super impressive, especially considering the time limit!
