tiny sword op

A cute little game! I would have liked to see some more strategy to it like maybe a variation of enemies or getting to choose a power up instead of it just being given, but I think you did a nice job given that it is a jam with limited time

Really cute art! Enjoyed it! The enemy popping sound was a bit harsh with headphones on.

Nice and small! Good respect of the theme and nice vibes and all ! could be a bit more strategic or varied but eh thats a jam. oh and I love the way the buffs and debuffs are given to you!

Good Game! But for me its a bit to simple, the Game was done within a view minutes.

It's alright, i guess, but it gets boring too quickly, since the moviment is soo slow and the strategy is minimal.

I like the crunchy visual style, the game is neat and it's silly that your fairy friend can give you negatives as well as positives. I just didn't find much strategy to it as the sword (while meant to be unwieldly due to size) is simply too slow to control at almost any size, meaning your best bet is to go in the direction of the sword and carve out a path to the end of the screen, then proceed to swing and swing till the rest of the horde is gone. Still, neat little game!

That's how you do a game for a jam! Simple Intuitive and fun! And of course owning the theme!  Just one idea i got, i thought the sword will start huge and decrease scale each spin, so the player would have been forced to dose the spinning and not spammin like crazy, after level up maybe you could have the huge sword back. Said that, that was so nice to play, remembered me berserk manga! WELL DONE!

The game is fun to play! I liked especially the power-ups.
Would have appreciated if getting hurt had visual feedback apart from just the removal of hearts and also a wave counter to see my progress.

Fun game, I enjoyed it =)

I liked the graphics a lot and the mechanics of the sword were pretty neat and satisfying, but how you wrangle it didn't feel very intuitive. I get the point is that it doesn't control very smoothly but it took a while to realize it was rotating against where I was walking thanks to the unexpected angles it would turn to get to its position when it's not the optimal angle to take.

Pretty good game! :3

This is such a cute little game, really love the feeling of swinging the sword and cutting through a bunch of enemies

Good game!
For me this little animations seem really cool, keep up with it!

BIG!

I like how the scale of the sword is a tradeoff between attack range and movement speed

I don't understand how the sword rotates as you move tho, (possibly a bug caused by the fact that your sword rotation code doesn't take into account the fact that angles wrap around?)

Nice little game, fun play on the theme with having the sword scale each turn. The hit detection of the enemies confused me a bit, because it seemed random when the sword passes an enemy if that enemy would get killed or not. Especially in the later levels this becomes an issue, with the waves getting bigger an such.

Good idea to implement a little random buff system as a reward, keeps the gameplay a bit more interesting.

I LOVED playing your game! Good luck!

I like the idea of having to adapt to the situation and change your playstyle! I wish I had more agency

Now that's a big sword.

Fun little concept, definitely had a good time with it!
